Hello there.

I was just searching through one of my old hard disks and came across a folder full of e-books from a while back. Some of these i thought we're very interesting and enlightening when i read them, for others i now know better, but for all, they remain excellent pieces of literature which serve to invite the imagination into having an open view on accepted history.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These are NOT academic books and should not be critiqued as so. Some class these under pseudo-history, pseudo-archeology, etc. Read and judge them at your own discretion.

Disclaimer: I do not subscribe and/or support any theories presented in any of the books below.

ENJOY!

Chariots of the Gods

Author: Erich von Daniken

About:

Erich von Daniken's Chariots of the Gods is a work of monumental importance--the first book to introduce the shocking theory that ancient Earth had been visited by aliens. This world-famous bestseller has withstood the test of time, inspiring countless books and films, including the author's own popular sequel, The Eyes of the Sphinx. But here is where it all began--von Daniken's startling theories of our earliest encounters with alien worlds, based upon his lifelong studies of ancient ruins, lost cities, potential spaceports, and a myriad of hard scientific facts that point to extraterrestrial intervention in human history.

Dead Men's Secrets

Author: Jonathan Gray

About:

Archaelogist Jonathan Gray stumbled upon something that shocked him!...a whole cache of "out of place" items that should not exist. And they weren't just in one place. There was a global pattern to them. This pattern showed a lost science and technology. That's when he knew someone had to speak up. This content was of tremendous value.

The Hidden History of the Human Race

Author: Michael A. Cremo

About:

" Hidden History is a detective novel as much as a scholarly tour de force. But the murder is not the butler. Neither is the victim a rich old man with many heirs. The victim is man himself, and the role of the assassin is played by numerous scientists." Dr. Michael Rothstein, Politiken Newspaper, Denmark

The Emerald Tablets of Thoth

Author: Dr. M. Doreal (Supposedly the translator of the original tablets written by Thoth/Hermes himself)

About:

The Spiritual, Occult and Historical significance of the "Emerald Tablets" is almost beyond belief of modern man. Written around 36,000 B.C. by Thoth, an Atlantean priest-king, this manuscript dates far back beyond reach of any Egyptian writings ever found.

The Hymns of Hermes

Author: G.R.S. Mead

About:

These writings are attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, an ancient Egyptian sage, the founder of all arts and sciences, both mundane and spiritual. Rather than being an actual person, Hermes is the Egyptian personification of the "Gnostic Revealer." Hymns of Hermes examines Hermetic ecstatic hymns, which are songs of a poetic nature used to describe the Gnosis of Hermetic attainment—the ecstatic personal experience of the divine.

Lost Histories: Exploring the World's Most Famous Mysteries

Author: Joey Levy

About:

In this cross-continental, time-traveling romp through history and mythology, readers can join the hunt for missing cities, treasures, people, and wrecks, all of which have vanished leaving only the faintest traces to show that they ever existed. Proving that real mysteries can be found outside of movies and best-seller lists, the quests in this book are among the most famous: the sunken Atlantis, the never-found Amelia Earhart, the lost treasure of Captain Kidd, and that holy grail of all treasure hunters, the Holy Grail.

The Message of the Sphinx

Author: Graham Hancock & Robert Bauval

About:

Is the Sphinx of prehistoric origin? Why was it built? In this provocative, rigorously argued report, revisionist Egyptologists Hancock (The Fingerprints of the Gods) and Bauval (The Orion Mystery) join forces to answer these questions and more as they examine the Sphinx and its relation to the other monuments of the Giza plateau. Working from the premise that the Giza complex encodes a message, they begin with recently discovered geological evidence indicating that the deep erosion patterns on the flanks of the Sphinx were caused by 1000 years of heavy rain. Such conditions last existed in Egypt at the end of the last ice age, about 10,000-9,000 B.C., meaning that the Sphinx may be more than 12,000 years old (not the generally accepted 4500 years).

Serpent in the Sky: The High Wisdom of Ancient Egypt

Author: John Anthony West

About:

This revised edition of West's revolutionary reinterpretation of the civilization of Egypt challenges all that has been accpeted as dogma concerning this ancient and enigmatic land. It features a new introduction linking Egyptian science with the perennial wisdom tradition and an appendix updating the author's work in redating the Sphinx.

Earth's Forbidden Secrets

(personal favorite)

Author: Maxwell Igan

About:

Extract: It has been often said that it is only by gaining a true understanding of the Earths past that we can ever hope to find the vital key to understanding its future and in turn, our own. Such notions have always caused mankind to ponder himself, our planet, the stars, the universe, and beyond, but much of this thought invariably returns to thoughts of the past and the nature of God.

These are very nice books.
Im currently reading Fingerprints of the Gods from the good old paper source

The history has to be rewritten. There are so much similarities between South Americans cultures and the Middle East - the way the buildings (pyramids) were build, the legends, the names of the gods and the ceremonies themselves. And the conventional archeologists doesn's seem to accept that once there was some advanced civilization that spread its knowledge through distant lands.

S&F

I have the books “Fingerprints of the Gods”, and "The Message of the Sphinx" from Graham Hancock and “Serpent in the Sky” of John Anthony West, at my home in Dutch.
I found especially “Fingerprints of the Gods” and “Serpent in the Sky”, a marvelous read.
I am going download the others because the things described in there have sorely my interest.

Thanks again.

For vapedson:

For “Windows” users, Left Click on the green download arrow

A new browser window will open at the www....(nolink) website with the download link.

On the Mediafire page, left click on “Click here to start download.”

A file download popup box will appear

Left click on “save”

Choose the location on your hard drive to save the file

Left click on “save” again to save the file to that location.

The file will download in the form of a pdf file. You will need a pdf reading program to open it (like the free program –Adobe Reader).

I hope that helps.

Cheers

AS to how to download from PC I had to right click on the arrow and hit open link to get there.
