I don't think so bud...

Unhappy fans of Sarah Palin went rogue on the Alaska Republican during her book tour stop in Noblesville, Indiana on Thursday.

The local Borders outlet had handed out 1,000 wristbands to book purchasers; the wristbands were supposed to procure fans Palin's signature on their hardback copies of "Going Rogue." But several dozen people who had been promised signatures were turned away empty-handed after waiting hours in poor weather, a local news outlet, the Indy Channel, reported.

"We gave up our entire workday, stayed in the cold, my kids were crying," one man was quoted saying. "They went home with my wife. She was out here in the freezing cold all day. I feel like I don't want to support Sarah."

Another woman told Indy Channel, "We bought two books from Borders to have our receipt and our wristband to get it signed tonight. My books are going back to Borders tomorrow."

The angry crowd turned on Palin as she returned to her "Going Rogue" tour bus. Video below shows people booing and shouting at the bus, and shouting "Sign our books Sarah!" as the engine revved up and Palin departed.

local news coverage (ignore the source it IS local TV):

www.dailykos.com...

And before you say she signed plenty of books I have seen authors sign books for over 12hrs without a single complaint, they actually would not leave until they got em all.

Remember when Superman had to run off in the middle of some event and go fight to keep the free world safe? It's like that. Thats just how Sarah rolls.

Hotsauce that is so funny!

I saw the news where alot of the fans who did not get their books signed were chanting at the bus. Some of them said they were returning their books to Barnes and Noble tomorrow.

And I see how her bus ROLLS on away from her adoring freezing fans! lol

I'm sure exGov. Palin will have some lame excuse on her facebook page, blaming someone else. That's how exGov. Palin rolls.

All you linked to us was a video, and no sources to claim for the 300 or so folks who were supposedly neglected. Im not a fan of the woman.... far from it... but lets try to assure fact checking here. The OP sounds more like speculation to me.

Did you catch that? Over 1,000 people showed up during a COLD RAIN to see her and she signed books for 3 hours!!

Really? They waited 3 hours for this woman? For that book??? You would really have to be in the tank to even consider to buy her book from the Walmart discount bin.... Its just beyond me.... even for Palin supporters.

Like I thought all along - she is the real Messiah, ah, it is going to be fun if she runs again.

Palin supporters are the lowest common denominator, they are all stupid as a box of rocks, and just about as useful.

Isn't that blonde Andrea Mitchell from ABC news?
The cops have to hold her back???
Just call for an interview!

What is going on?

I think they call that a staged event.
OK, there is 5 of us.
I'll hold the camera.
You 4 stand behind me and yell whatever.
I'll post it on youtube and we''ll call it a mob.

Nice try.
They sure are desperate.
It's not 2012 yet and Sarah is already driving the LWL crazy.

This is fun.

What's going on? The evidence is pretty clear.. A mob of adoring fans showed to get books signed. Most authors would be wowed and sign away until the sun came up if needed (I know I sure would).. But after a couple sigs Sarah got bored. Maybe a sat broadcast of "Moose Hunter" was about to start in the bus who knows? The fact is SHE BAILED. Did she stand outside the bus with a bullhorn and explain what was going on? Did she stop and wave and say anything to her fans freezing in the cold for hours? No, she ran onto the bus and made a get away akin to a bank robbery -which is exactly what this whole book circus is! She got what 7mil for the book under agreement to do a tour at x-book shops for x-hours.. She is simply fulfilling her obligations. It's like when you watch a band play 5 songs and leave because that was the agreement.. screw the fans.. whereas a genuine band does 2hrs and encore for an hour. Palin is a SELLOUT, are you all so naive?

To answer your question, yes, that actually is Andrea Mitchell and yes, security is holding her back. Apparently, she thought a book signing event was a great time to bust in and ask Palin about the Newsweek cover.

Here's really the pathetic part of this deal....

ExGov. Palin treats her adoring fans like crap, bails on them just like she did Alaska and has no respect for the folks that love her.....

But still there are her devotees making excuses for her when she probably thinks they are chumps for buying her book and has no regard for them other than as stepping stones for her career.

Calm down. Sarah is just making her way to the White House.
She just needs to find a great V.P. along the way.

Isn't that bus great!!! Wonderful paint job.
------------------------------------------------------------
I think Obama is the one who "sold out" to George Soros.
Did you see that list of people who have visited the White House?
George Soros is making himself at home.
I'm guessing he was the one who told Obama to move KSM to
New York City for circus trial. Bad move for Obama. Polling
data is heading down into a spiral of despair for Team Obama.
It's over.

It's not 2012 yet!
Why are the "lamestream media" going crazy so early?
Yes, i see the camera behind Andrea Mitchell.
BTW, that's a cop with a gun not a security guard.

There are actually two of them holding her back. The above image is cropped so that you can only see the cop. That white in the bottom right is actually the arm of a security guard also holding her back.
