I couldn't help but watch, and I agree that the vids are a little freaky....it's obviously a very expensive and sophisticated production, and looks like HR Geiger was involved in the design process somewhere. I can see what you mean about the alien influence being present, but I don't think it's so much about aliens, as about the misogeny of incredible pieces of beautiful textile art on miserable and emaciated women, wearing shoes that remind me of the ancient Chinese practise of foot binding, leaving them immobile, and in pain....those freaky looking shoes simply cannot be comfortable.Or even safe. I would rather just see the clothes and not the women actually.

Hiya Mathius, and welcome to your first thread!

I think they're tapping into popular culture, and it's somewhat heartening that alien notions have become mainstream.

I really like the strange makeup -- not your conventional covergirl stuff, huh? Weird outfits, however if a woman is superskinny most anything looks okay on them. What about those cray-zee FMPs? They must be really hard to walk in. Pretty cool stuff. I used to see things sorta like this now and again when we lived in the San Francisco area, although usually that was around Halloween.

I like that the women aren't your standard slender beauties. They are striking -- at least to me -- and I appreciate a model who looks different and at the same time individual.

I hope what you were sorta hinting at is true: The notion that a sort of "soft" disclosure is coming about through a gradual acceptance. I thought the opening sequence in video #1 was interesting........

Sex + Alien = Taboo + interesting? S+A=T+I, so to isolate A, T/S + I/S = A

NEVERmind. Don't follow my train of thought. Tigers be there.
