I think they were fined $1,000 dollars and pointed back to town. Why the conspiracy...the sign didn't say you would be shot if you crossed over the gate and if the gov. was that concerned the road would have been gated and military personnel would have had a checkpoint. I don't understand why you think this was such a big deal. Did I miss something? Curious old ladies on an adventure to Area 51.

Two elderly women out in the middle of the desert looking for the security gate to Area 51.
That's pretty cool. The majority of older folks that I hae talked with over the years don't believe in aliens. Hell, most of them don't even believe that we ever went to the moon or made it to space.

I wonder what happened to them? Probably nothing bad. Police probably escorted them out of the area with a warning.

"We'll just follow the dust bunnies." LoL

Wow - I was expecting a lot more

Me and a friend went to explore Area 51 back in 1992. We stopped at the Lil A'Le'Inn as well but that SAME LADY was much nicer then! I got a copy of Bob Lazar's spiral bound book there as well.

We went close to the area they stopped to take pictures of the signs, only it was a no-moon night after 10 pm. We walked up onto the hill about 1/2 mile left of where they were (SouthWest if I recall). It was so clear out there you could read the writing on my friend's shirt without moon or flashlight.

After cresting the hill you could see in the vid we could see the runways and the building complexes. Nothing was really going on as far as we could tell.

The lethal force signs and the multi-sensor towers to detect intruders were a little disconcerting!

In my opinion there is nothing important there anymore . They just keep that base still secret so we keep thinking they do

Even if they had ufo's there .... these were moved i bet!

Bob Lazar's book? Perhaps Glenn Campbell's Viewers Guide.

Old Ladies indeed.
Those two old bags were reptilian shape shifters in a Delorian

Old ladies...
.

This is old school alien trickery, they must be having a great laugh at us in the underground reptoid bases.

This was an exciting video. I bet the ladies got off with just a warning though. You know they played the confused old person card. "Huh? Where are we? Is there a Piggly Wiggly in this town?"

And the winner of the "music so annoying you feel like sticking screwdrivers in both ears" goes to this video.

What posses people to turn a pretty good video into a steaming pile of poop by adding extremely annoying music?

That was... quite funny. The old gal with her arm resting in the window of the kid's car seemed really, really determined to get in there. It was a little perplexing, to be honest.

"Area 51 Viewer's Guide" by Glenn Campbell.

It's quite dated at this point. I offered to scan mine for Glenn, but never got a reply. I'm sure it's pirated someplace on the net.

You run the gate at ANY U.S. military installation and they have the perfect right to shoot you in the head and justifiably so.

How the hell are they supposed to know what your intentions are? Ask the friends of some servicemen who ran down cars that crashed military gates only to wind up at ground zero with a massive bomb.

Irregardless of why you would do this or what you hope to gain by crossing a military base boundary unauthorized, the guards have absolutely no sense of humor about it, and you are taking your life in your own hands.

And that is the way it should be.

Edited for spelling:
