You won't believe who is hidden in the new Star Trek movie...



And now you see why the bridge crew look so confused.

Anyone catch this on the release? It's supposed to be at 45:42 in the movie.

Will have to look for that...

Somehow, I don't think it is real. I'm going to go with the video was altered to include the droid.

Can you see him floating there, on the left, right below the huge arrow that I also missed when I saw the movie? That's obviously him, a fact that has been confirmed to me by one of the movie's sequence supervisors at Industrial Light & Magic—the same guy who said this previous sighting was just the shuttle.

I just checked the copy of Star Trek I have, and there is R2D2, flying through in space.

I stand corrected. Kind of like the hidden Playboy bunny logo on the covers of the magazine, back when they used to do that. I'm not sure if they still do.
