Mr. Independent [Lou Dobbs] speaks out on The Factor about CNN & more...

O'Reilly Factor interviewed Lou Dobbs about the many reasons for his sudden resignation from CNN.

There are a number of articles, but here's the video, in his own words, covering many topics that caused him to decide to leave CNN. (most trusted name in news
)

And his plans for the future including, as O'Reilly asks, "Are you going to run for the Senate?"

These are historic times and here's another facet.

enjoy.

So Dobbs was speaking up about his birther beliefs that Fox News shares along with him when O'Reilly answers with this little nugget:

If you're gonna ask a question that Barack Obama doesn't want to answer you're gonna get hammered by the Obama people, and that's what happened. And it happened to the extent that you say you were shot at out in Jersey where you live, right?

O'Reilly not only fails to disqualify Dobbs's birtherism, he accuses Obama of attempting to kill Dobbs.

How this is tolerated by the viewership of Fox News I'll never understand.

I think if the President chose, he could have a little fun with litigation against Mr. Dobbs due these calumnies. There is no end to the absurdities.

Maybe he should now just go patrol our borders since this seems to be such a passion of his. He could develop some type little "superhero" costume, including a leotard, and dance around protecting our country from evildoers. Lou Dobbs to save the day!

Yetch.

Yes. This is a perfect example of how one individual can stir up a great deal of unrest, for the purpose of showmanship. I'm glad he's gone.

CNN is working hard on getting their ratings to zero. Much easier to get a bailout that way.
