MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian police have arrested three homeless people suspected of eating a 25-year-old man they had butchered and selling other bits of the corpse to a local kebab house.

Suspicions were raised when dismembered parts of a human body were found near a bus stop in the outskirts of the Russian city of Perm, 1,150 km (720 miles) east of Moscow.

Three homeless men with previous criminal records have been arrested on suspicion of setting upon a foe with knives and a hammer before chopping up his corpse to eat, local investigators said in a statement on their www.susk.perm.ru

What if the meat is getting around the world now? Could you imagine the look on peoples faces when they ate human meat on accident? Who knew homeless would be so desperate.

Reading this article makes me wonder what human meat tastes like.

Sad thing is this stuff may actually have been sold to costumers.

Lol,how would you know if you had just eaten a person?
I stopped eating those things years ago because you just never know.
Plus there were plenty of horror stories about a takeaway local to me regarding cats.I think it was neighbourhood gossip though.....

Our area actually had a chinese restaurant shut down because they found cats and saint bernards tied up in a room in the restaurant. True story. I can't find any articles on it because it was in a newspaper one day thenthe subject was just suddenly changed. I wish I could prove it though. I never ate there thank God.

Ah, its good to be vegetarian.
Still, if I was actually starving to death, nothing would be off the menu. I'd have thought dogs or something would be easier & a whole lot less risky. Maybe they killed him in an argument & only decided to eat the corpse afterwards...

human flesh supposedly tastes like ham. I've heard that this is why ham was eaten at easter originally in place of a pagan sacrifice (not sure how true that is )

Ive read that the human body is not setup to eat human flesh and people who do start to give off a strange smell after a while.

Welp, a lesson from the Meiwes cannibal dude: Don't eat the penis because it doesn't cook well. Just shrivels up.

I guess I'd eat a human as a last resort. I mean, it might not be moral but hey, if it's the only thing available you might as well. I mean, what's the difference between eating a human and a pig? Hunting a pig, killing it, gutting it and finally cooking it is seen as a quality pastime. Doing that to a human? Well, it somehow makes you a savage. Doesn't seem to make too much sense.

Regardless, this is yet another article that is totally death metal.

LOL I remember first viewing of the trailer and "He's LICKIIIING me!!"



But couldn't find the movie till several years later....

I've been told that human flesh taste like sweet pork.

Very small thin strips rolled into a ball and swallowed is the easiest way to get it down your throat without the squeamish getting sick.

I certainly hope and pray I never have to find out.

I just saw the 'Ravenous' trailer above and thought I'd post this one as well - it was recently released in Australia and recounts the true story of Alexander Pearce, an escapee in the wilderness of 1822 Tasmania (that eats his fellow escapees). It's entitled "Van Diemen's Land."



It's evidently so gruesome that it made people vomit at the premiere.

Ravenous, was more of a mind freak than a just a plain freaky movie.

I wouldn't eat a human, because I don't want to turn into a wendigo.
