Let me begin by saying that Hollywood has a lot of positive things

going for it . Many truly excellent movies and T.V productions . Good .

However , a new porn movie begins shooting every 19 minutes , 24/7 .

Woeful . And now the vampires have gained popularity . NNNOOOOOOOO...!!

In Australia , we now have vampire cults , with members drinking

blood every day , and worshipping everything evil . They actually

believe that vampires are real and immortal .! Voodoo nonsense !

That IS moral bankruptcy . All in the name of turning a profit .!

It brings down all the legitimate efforts of the good side of the industry ,

and makes a laughing stock out of Western culture that allows it to happen .

i think people are stupid. if a movie convinced you to drink blood you obviously havent had much brain cells to begin with.

Hollywood/Hellewood is a truly twisted place, devoid of any kind of decency or sense of values it would seem judging from the latest garbage they're pushing on the public and have been for decades now.

whats wrong with porn as far as these vampire cults, there will always be stupid people. if there were never vampire charactures they would become warewolfs or something else. hollywood makes me sick because nothing really has value anymore. if monkeys having sex would be a good background for selling bibles and hollywood was in charge, they would put monkeys having sex as a backround for bible sale commercials. that would offend me directly, just the fact that everything is about making a buck

Hollywood movies have a larger impact on society than most recognise. Unfortunately, in its pursuit of global reach and fortune, the movie industry turns a blind eye to movies that are likely to have a negative impact on society. I bet most directors/producers/photographers would not let their own children do half the things that people do in these movies. It's important to remember that parents have a responsibility to monitor what their children are watching and doing. But, we should not create this need because we want to make lucrative movies.

It's like the adult film industry. Sure, it's nice and convenient to have pornographic movies - as long as it's not our mothers, daughters, wives or girlfriends involved. That is the problem. If it is not our mothers, daughters, wives or girlfriends, whose are they?

This ties in with my original paragraph. We might not mind seeing our relatives hurt, murderd, raped and pillaged in the movies, but if it were our own family, how would we feel?

There could be the occasional person who will drink some blood on occasion. However, I am highly doubtful that there are significant numbers of people doing this. There are all kinds of people who love to dress up like vampires, wear dark clothing, hang out at night, and so on. It's a kind of fashion, something like the Goths used to do. Dark, mysterious, morbid - it's a style. Some people like it, others don't. I don't see much of a "moral" issue here, whatever we mean by "moral".

Porn is in the eye of the beholder. All it means, basically, is sexual behavior or art or media that goes beyond what *we* think is OK. For some people, lingerie ads in the paper are "porn". For others, there's nothing too graphic or wild to be considered inappropriate or unacceptable. Again, there's no "moral" issue. It's just a matter of where we choose to draw the line.

Get over it!! Porn is a multi-million dollar industry, sex SELLS! It doesnt bother me that a porno is made every whatever mins it was you stated, yeah for me! Also vampires, really?? You are bothered by vampires?! WOW! They are popular so what! There have always been vampire cults and if they choose to drink blood so be it. I dont care what people want to believe in, if they arent hurting anyone what is the big deal??


You really think Hollywood has good movie and TV productions? Let me guess you love American Idol and all the other useless shows on network tv?? Hollywood has gone in the crapper in my opinion. They havent had an original idea in years. Everything is remade and tv is nothing but crappy reality shows where everyone wants to become famous and they will do just about anything to get there..That IS moral bankruptcy!

As for vampires well who are you to say they arent real? DO you have proof God is real?? Who are you to tell people what they should believe in??? I happen to love vampire lore and everything about it. You might want to read up on it before you pass judgement on the people who practice it. There is so much more to it that you obviously have no clue about. You might also want to read about Voodoo as well....not as bad as one might think. I have many books on Voodoo and its quite interesting to read about.

So I think you are overreacting..Porn and vampires are not the worst thing in the world. Personally I think video games do more damage than porn and the whole vampire craze....but that is just me.

There's a common-denominator in all of this (which can also be extended to the music industry)

I am pro-orgasm and anti-sexual shame so I am largely pro-porn. I have noticed since the DIY video boom of the 1990's, porn has gotten better. The "talent" seems a lot more positively charged. Believe it or not, some people are shameless exhibitionists and like sex- a lot!! These people eventually move to California. In 70's and 80's porn productions I would occasionally see lethargic females with closed eyes in dubious settings. Today, for the most part it is a very competitive industry and to be a "star" you have to train like an athlete, hustle and network. There are thousands of free-willed porn hopefuls on social networking sites like myspace. This is the face of the new online sexual "revolution". Its unfortunately not free love this time- its Pay-per-view.

Regarding vampires- the whole phenomenon runs on an undercurrent of sexual tension. High school kids love it. So do housewives, theatre geeks and just about everyone else besides faint-hearted religious crusaders.

-The Black Dahlia Murder
-Film industry/black ops connections to covert social programming
-Analysis of David Lynch's films Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway
