I got this link on facebook, what is shown in these pictures are just amazing.
Look at how the sand dunes are forming wierd shapes on the Martian landscapes.

Absolutely beautiful gallery of pictures from an ancient world that is both now familiar and still the definition of alien.

Mars, if we should ever muster the stones to explore it, offers the perfect chance to experience the wonder of diversity and still, the commonality of our shared universal existence.

I wish I was young enough to see it happen someday. But I fear that even those youngest of us, will not live to see what our lack of courage will cause us all to miss.

It is as you people say wierd that they cant get those kind of photos of the moon.

It looks like an alien planet and did you see the alien looking strait up at the satellite in one of the pictures ?

Take alook and see if you can spot him, real easy infact..

You can now. NASA had just sent the LRO to the Moon this summer, it has been in its mission orbit since mid September. The LRO can take images of the Lunar surface at about 50cm per pixel on average. The MRO images can vary between 25cm to 60cm per pixel. So both probes are quite comparable in that regard.
