As others have pointed out there is no real "dark side of the moon". The side that permanently faces away from Earth is more accurately called the Far Side of the moon. Infact, because the far side of the moon is never subject to a terristial, or Earth, eclipse it gets fractionally more direct sunlight than the near side does.

and I just watched Thundercats not 15 minutes ago on OnDemand lol

Thats what im talking about!!!

Back on topic:

When did this turn into a debate about Fox News? Haha.

Nasa found water - on another celestial body - and we're bickering about an entertainment network?

Personally - i feel ecstatic about this - this is one of the most significant finds of our life time (in my opinion)

If there's water on the moon - then probability demands that there's water elsewhere. Liquid Water. H20

And if there's H20 elsewhere, so there is life.

To suggest otherwise, IMO, is just being bull-headed and ignorant.

Awesome, I hope this revives a sort of 1960's "zeal" for space again.
