Miniature bear in central kentucky!! for real...

There are plenty of bear in Kentucky. Black bear are actually pretty small compared to grizzlys, browns, polars and some of the females can be downright petite.
Light brown to tan is an unusual color but not unheard of.
It was probably just a yearling female that is on the small side and has been pushed into new territory because the bear population in the states is on the rise.
They are actually very shy and usually will run away from people.

EXACTLY! There are bears in Kentucky. Ever been to the red river gorge or other state parks in Eastern KY? They all have bear-resistant garbage cans for a reason.
