Hi all,

I will be driving from Ottawa, Canada to Indian Rocks beach in Florida in October. I am looking for advice on places to stop and interesting things to see on the way....any help would be greatly appreciated.

well besides the theme parks, like Disney and Seaworld which wouldn't be too far from you. I suggest just relaxing and soaking up the sun.

well if you get daring and decide to drive further south, come visit fort lauderdale, miami and the keys... it's like a whole nother country down here.

I've only done the drive from florida to toronto via I-95, lots of places to stop off and enjoy the sites along the route, unless you want to make good time, then stick to the rest stops.

and yeah keep those quarters to yourself.

Thanks guys...not really going to do the theme park thing...allthough I do like Busch gardens.

I promise not to leave any quarters, but I will be spending loonies and toonies instead...hahahaha

Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg
Ringling House, and Museum in Sarasota
MOSI in Tampa
Florida Aquarium in Tampa
Guavaween in Tampa/Ybor City (in October)
Clearwater Beach
Adventure Island (water park, right across the street from Busch Gardens)

Broward County!! But you need a car...to go almost everywhere.
