Yes the BEST ones.
I like Rocks.

What do you means by ignoring Clementine Images ?
Do you have some interesting link ?

There's some interesting thread on ATS about anomalies on LRO images.
Just take a look.

By "ignoring Clementine images" i mean "ignoring Clementine images"

Clementine was launched on January 25, 1994, from Vandenburg Air Force Base onboard a Titan IIG rocket. After two Earth flybys, lunar orbit was achieved on February 19, 1994. Lunar mapping took place over approximately two months in two systematic mapping passes over the Moon.

Check out the threads about anomalies and you'll find out that the primary source are still Apollo images in the most fortunate cases, otherwise are LO.
Yes, i have a link

BTW: the feature you've posted is interesting: not the feature itself, the shadow

Thank to give reply.

This rock is the biggest alone rock I found on LRO images.
I don't know how it arrives here. No crater.
Perhap's a low trajectory ?

I'll take a look at your link.

Sorry, I just arrived on ATS.
I just start to read lot of threads.
I'm six month late. just discovering LRO images.

If you like shadows, so you will like this one

What causes these formations on the Moon?

Please use this thread for anaxagoras shadows discussion.

What is it about (some of) you guys? You scour NASA (and other sources) lunar photos and you get excited when you find natural features such as spires or tall mountains that cast long shadows because of the sun angle? Why don't you just visit google images and search for photos of Monument Valley and get off on the l-o-o-n-g shadows? There are no more anomalies at MV than on the moon.

John Walson tried it with an unsubstantiated claim and I proved him wrong.

I get off on looking at the lunar surface as seen on the large plates in my ATLAS but from experience I know that nothing unnatural is all of a sudden going to appear.

The right camera picture is available now with another sun angle.
Nice picture.

So everybody can take a second look to "crystal tower" or not ?
