If such a collision were real "astronomers would have been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the
naked eye," it added. "Obviously, it does not exist."
"Credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012," it insisted.
This much is true. Niburu is so much nonsense spread by illiterates. Anyone who has even looked lightly into the Mayan Calendar knows the whole 2012
thing is a figment of some lively imaginations mixed with bad intentions by those who profit from spreading fear based on myths.
That NASA even needs to do this is an indictment on how illiterate much of our population is. The true conspiracy is the dumbing down of the
populations of the world to a level where such nonsense can even be a subject of serious discussion.
This is a venture into the childish myths of uneducated cultures of the past. Zeus is not going to strike us down from on high on Mt. Olympus, nor is
Planet X approaching the Earth. Such things are for children, fiction and the unfortunate illiterates in the adult world.
As a society we should hang our heads in shame that we have allowed the state of education in our so-called enlightened society devolve to a state
where beliefs like this can even exist in our culture.
Critical thinking is our best defense in this world and yet it is lacking in our schools so people can be manipulated into one groups political
ideology. This is the fallout from that.
