From what I can determine is that the Jesuit is allowed to take
up occupations outside the realm of education or other order
duties.
Thus one might hold political office or run rehab centers and such.
So guess there is an astronomer near you that wears black.
I gave my brain a laugh as I spied some fellow on the dance
floor and Jesuit popped in, my secret name for that fellow "The Jesuit".
Just from a look but no black garb for identification.

came to visit him with his wife and a Jesuit. I never asked how
he knew. Perhaps he was in black. The nutty non professor
in "Mosquito Coast" seemed too close to for comfort in some
respects and once saw the ex wife by chance years later and
then realized who the strangers were and perhaps what they
where there for.
