ScienceDaily (Nov. 6, 2009) — The Alps are growing just as quickly in height as they are shrinking. This paradoxical result comes from a new study by a group of German and Swiss geoscientists.

You'd have to take into consideration Weathering effects and other factors such as Landslips to get a rough estimate of how much the Alps region are increasing in height over millenia. Its a good factor though that the African and European plate are raising land quicker than its wearing down, hence why in a good few million years time the Mediterranean will become another chain of the Alps.

Sadly however Europe will have moved further North and Glaciation will take over as happened in Greenland, so any Mountains/Volcanoes that are created wouldnt be easily recognisable.
