Wow! That looks almost like an idol from old days. I wonder what sort of forces led to it being shaped like that? I googled and they're kind of odd
shaped anyway, but nothing like this!
Very cool

Could have been grown in a breakable container shaped like that. It was done years ago with tomatoes to make them square to better fit on a sandwitch.

There is no way that's real. Come on, people.
I don't know about it being PhotoChopped, but it definitely didn't come out of the ground like that.
Hey, yeah. I could be wrong... Ok. It's not impossible - it's extremely IMPROBABLE. And the symmetry??? Come on.

It just so happens that this plant contains the highest source of Revesterol, which is an antiviral that inhibits neuraminidase. It helps stop the
cells from manufacturing the H1N1 virus, because viruses need neuraminidase to reproduce.

How do you propose the roots get their nutrients then? The roots act as a sponge to feed the plant, if the soil is dead the plant will die unlike the
size of that root.

The same way as carrots, turnips and beets etc do. The fine water carrying roots from the base of the tuber will have broken away when it was pulled
out of the ground or been brushed off after. All the energy is stored in the tuber so that it can go dormant for the cold months and return in
spring, if it isn't pulled out of the ground and consumed that is. Leaves and water carrying roots are produced annually, the tuber itself can last
for several years and will reproduce by branching.
