With many contraversial claims made every day, would it not be a good idea to reference all statements made, in order to check up more easily.

I think that the ATS should start encouraging this more, in order to stop many an arguement and aid real debate.

Many people *do* reference their findings...Others (like myself, for example) may not remember the exact reference point...In order to offset my own personal lack of memory, I at least try to reference a direction on how I *found* my info. This is mainly because quite a bit of information I use doesn't have a website...I got it from a book (And may not even remember the exact title) & mention that a trip to the library would be in order.

And yes, the Admins/Mods here *do* occasionally encourage the addition of references...
