What if Science explained away Religion?

Science could use some religion.
Things like not telling a lie.
The whole 'science' of the ET, 2012 and the next movie propaganda
seems the modern day lie instead of Moon Landings.
And not telling is also a lie as far as dealing with UFOs and Tesla.
People think the science of 911 is quite faulty.
There is no end to the science lies.
Science is doing away with Religion and in a bad way.
If Science steps on a banana peel it will go deep down
where the Savior only went once.

I specifically wrote that Science could either AFFIRM or DENOUNCE Religion. So... I take it you're on the AFFIRM side, what do you think will happen to the world when that bridge is crossed?

If sciense one day explains religion, I guess we all just raise to another level of understanding - I believe that the explanation will be something like "Aliens were here 2000 years ago......" and then we just have a understanding, that Aliens placed humans on earth , for them to evelope their souls for finally beeing some sort of Alien, - an alien with no bound physical body, beeing more soul than body, beeing able to travel through time as a UFO !

I personally don't think Religion and Science are even at odds.

Religion explains the why.
Science explains the how.

I have faith in both, and there is no conflict in my mind that even needs to be resolved.

I have a better question. What will happen when the tooth Fairy kills Santa Claus? Tom kills Jerry? Or how about when Homer kills Bart? Or if communism removed democracy? Or if protestantism removed catholicism? OR? Or? Or?
