Wow Mellisa,

I had to star your thread, because I believe that religion is evil - it causes wars, death, suffering, torture, division between people and nations.

It is a manmade evil that must be stopped, for the good of mankind.

It may seem that there is an increase but is it just an increase in your awareness of these things?

Particularly plagues or epidemics...

listverse.com...

Modern history has been relatively plague free...

Who knows, Chad?

I truly hope I am wrong.

I would like to know what good religion has done to mankind.

It has caused hatred, wars, suffering, starvation - please tell me what good it has done.

Because I really would like to know.

Anything from feeding the homeless to personal enlightenment. Are these not good? And I don't think religion DOES anything TO mankind.

You are saying people do these things?

I think not.
