The Republican lead Congress of '94 also repealed glass-steagall and Clinton signed it. If we could get past the partisanship we'd be better off.
Trust me, most from both sides care nothing for you or me.

institutions (ie - pandemic).

It has to be obvious by now to everyone that until we vote independent and vote in a regular everyday hard working American who actually cares about
other hard working Americans, we will keep heading down this road where they play party politics to fool everyone 4 to 8 years at a time!
They just shift blame on to each other to confuse and then do the same exact things. They pretend that each side has some huge difference in agendas
and goals, but the goal is the same Globalism and control.
There are a select few that actually care about the people and these massive issues facing us, both sides label those candidate independents crazy and
use the corrupt media to make them disappear.
But eventually everything that these independents warn us about come true.
I haven't seen any change - the only change I have seen is more control and less transparency. How many times is this Nation going to be duped into
more 4 - 8 year terms with no real "CHANGE", just deeper political corruption, less real answers to problems and more Freedoms lost?
This is a joke - a sick joke!

So true. I am in complete agreement. There are a few politicians who I believe in. When I say that I mean I trust them that they are being honest. I
don't always necessarily agree with their stance. Basically, Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich come to mind.
Honestly, I don't think we as a nation will change anything. We are too divided. Sorry to be a pessimist.

I get so pissed everytime I think about NAFTA. I was doing some automotive engineering in the 90's and everything I did was geared up to move to
Mexico. We ship our jobs to them and they flood our borders to take jobs here.
We send lots of jobs to China and are stupid enough to buy all the junk from them same jobs we do not have. The Federal Govt is suppose to protect us
from this crap, not create it!
There is one thing that comes to mind whenever I hear this stuff and we should yell it loud with conviction.

Its much worse than many are willing to admit but will soon have no choice
as they witness the destruction of this nation. It is happening in Europe and other nations and has reached the point of NO return, at least anytime
soon.

Obama doesn't want jobs. Obamanomics has nothing to do with jobs and I have been saying this for months.
Obama said he wants to "change" and "transform" America but nobody asked him what he wants to change and transform America into.
People should have listened to the things he said before he go elected.
The worse off you are, the more dependent you will be on his big government programs. Eventually, these programs will be provided in exchange for
mandatory service.
This is why he keeps talking about the price of citizenship and Rahm Emmanuel wants mandatory service for those between the ages of 18-25.
They want you to labor for free in exchange for health care and other government programs.
This is not good and Wall Street will continue to make money will jobs are nowhere to be found.

Yup, that is precisely why the US Military has met its recruitment goals for the first time since the draft was ended in 1973. Because the youth have
no jobs--and are turning to military service as the only way to survive.

sure, unless you consider the decrease in expenses these companies have thanks to all those laid off workers. smaller salaries, smaller benefits,
profits rise.
I would also add that due to the decrease in the dollar, the money they bring back is worth more thereby increasing profits. Doesn’t help the guy/
girl who has been laid off though! The stock market doesn’t represent what is happening to the average Joe.

so what is the real number ?
as i recall in the u.s , the "long" long term unemployment number is not on that list because after youve been unemployed for x amount of time your
put off the list but still unemployed , so that number is should be much higher.
but i might be very wrong , anyone know if it is like how i recall ?

The U 6 figure, which represents the way that unemployment used to be counted during the Great Depression and throughout the 70s and 80s, puts the
current number of unemployed at 53 million...equivalent to two large states without work. That represents around 20% of the population, rather than
the 10% the government would have you believe.

Sometimes I wonder...
One of my friend was laid off a few months back. He went to apply for EDD unemployment benefits. The EDD is giving him about 70% of his original
monthly pay, with like 2 or 3 extensions. So technically, he is not working but making 70% of his original monthly pay and he can continue to get this
70% for like 2 years. This is fact, he has shown me the checks he's been getting.
So... why am I working now? I can just wait till my company lay me off, which is eventual if our Economy keeps sliding...
Trust me, if I can get 70% of my highest paying month from this current job, it's not that bad. So rather than sit my ass home and enjoy job hunting,
I might consider take the 2 year EDD offers and finish my degree lol...
I don't know, I might be getting this wrong but seeing how my friend is getting his share sometimes I question why I'm even working.

Over 17% at the very least. The government numbers are manipulated to paint a better picture. I think shadowstats.com explains it.

The dollar will fail - they know it and we are praying for time - "No Glenn Beck involved in that, I am really praying for time!
However there are too many brainwashed American's that pay to much attention to Dancing with the Stars and Who Wants to be a Millionaire" along with
being devoted and brainwashed to a long dead party that represents only 1% of what they used to stand for.
Here is the answer:
Invest in gold, the dollar will fail
Vote in the Independent - what has Ron Paul said that is so outlandish and crazy he isn't worthy of being President? He would look good on a currency
and he stands for everything that involves Freedom, the Constitution and the People. What is wrong with that?
All we have had is lies. All we have had is fake promise and more BS
I don't know where we would be right now if we had voted Ron Paul in but we would be closer to America and what we need than we are now!
McCain and Palin - that was a sacrifice candidate selection if ever I saw one and it guaranteed Obama getting in. She was so out of touch with
knowledge for a vice President it was crazy! We have seen some of the race cards played with the Professor getting arrested and other smaller race
positions drawing Obama's comments, but you know the biggest race card is coming when he falls completely in his campaign promises.
I said it in George Bush's second term that we could not afford another 4 years of him. I said we could not afford 4 - 8 years of either one, but
here we are - and heading towards socialism and communism.
All we needed was an American - but instead - we received a well coached extreme socialist who was put in place by the World Bank and we are
screwed.
The White House should now be seen as an arm to the ones who control us - the World Bank has played both sides of every war and forced one hand
against another by supplying funds to both sides. Our taxes go to it. Our Representatives are controlled by it - and we are now all slaves to it.
Keep sleeping - because they will make sure the end of freedom comes fast and swift.
Cheers

over the place because we are propping up companies that have no business being in business. When a "Leader" in an industry fails, a new company
emerges and takes its place. Why? Because the new company has a better business plan, better business practices and probably better products and
services. This is what happens in a HEALTHY economy!
Instead, we limp along doing all of the same things we've been doing that got us into this mess in the first place - you know, the whole deifinition
of insanity. It was apparent to me over a year ago that Obama was NOT the man for the job. Too bad this country is filled will millions of
mouth-breathing dolts who believe anything they hear. I certainly hope they're prepared to watch this situation - the one THEY created by electing
this clown - get much worse.
Oh, would you please STOP talking common sense. It's much more fun putting on a skirt and using the palm palms. Our President is a rockstar, man! He
gives us hope! Have a little faith in our President, will ya.
Like, if you keep it up, I'll like label you a racist. Excuse me for being an elitist liberal, but, for the love of Obama, have some sensitivity man.

You could quit or start your own company.
Going back to school would probably be the best choice if you
get laid off.
