Whachu talking bout Willis?

Pelosi unveiled the House version of the bill several days ago.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

You can download it and read it here (warning 1990 pages big pdf).

What they are referring to is the final version being posted, which is still being negotiated. Is that really enough of a reason to bash her? Of coarse it is, if you are a right wing extremist.

That is EXACTLY the time you want to watch a bill because THAT is the time when all the weird stuff gets slipped in!!!

A farmer had prodded her state rep to sponsor a bill that was against NAIS - Animal ID. She watch the bill go through one house get passed go into committee and come out for a vote only to find a few words had been inserted to make the bill REQUIRE Animal ID. She had a devil of a time to get to all the reps she had lined up to support the bill to stop them from voting for it. Then she had to start the whole process over to try and get a decent bill passed.

That is why anyone who has experienced the legislative "sausage-making" will tell you the 11th hour is when you have to watch a bill very closely. That is when all the nasty bits get slipped into the bills. Do you really think anyone is going to READ the final version before they vote on it?? Don't you think it is very suspect that the final version will not be available for anyone to read? Heck they can slip in a completely new bill and no one would know as long as the first couple of pages were similar!

And do they say what type of lawyers they are? Because a medical attorney would be able to read it, but a copyrights attorney or corporate attorney may not.

See, Fox tries to pass off people as experts when they are not. Fox also has been proven over and over again to have an agenda. so why would it be in their best interest to actually tell people what is in the bill?

If it is indeed that difficult to read, not sure about you, but to me, that is a huge red flag.

It is quite a leap to believe that much complexity is for our benefit and not personal gain for the writers and their lobbyists.
