when I mention the statement about obama finnishing the job Bush #2 started, here's what I mean.. Bush started the move toward taking away personal freedoms with his various executive orders making it easier to track suspected terrorists activities through wire taps and survielance. What people , myself included , failed to realize, is that the freedom useage of warrentless wire taps, and other survielance methods can be used on all citizens, under tyhe guise of "public safety".
Bush started the ball rolling to bankrupting our country , with his approval of the first stimulus of the "to big to fails" He was bailing out his buddies, the ruling elite, that he is a member of.

Obama had the chance to stop, modify, correct, adapt, some of this reckless spending, that has since been proven to be a gigantic waste of money. Our money, not the governments money. The various companies are still in trouble, waiting for their next feeding. it didn't do any good then, and it won't do any good now. Obama just continues with the same policy.

What must be remembered, and this is my opinion, is that they ALL play for the same team. They squabble, bicker, argue, and act like they hate each other, but in the end, nothing gets done without the approval of the ones they really work for. That's the ruling elite, the PTB, the NWO, whatever you want to call them. If you think our representatives work for us, you're sadly mistaken. Why do you think not much gets done? The only power we have is our vote, and yes, at election time, our reps get a little nervous at the prospect of losing their job. The vote on the health bill will be a make or break for many reps. They are in a pickle. They either vote against the bill, and keep their jobs, or vote for it, and fiollow party leadership. I think many will vote against it, and keep their jobs. I could be wrong.
In the final analysis, Obama, just as all the other presidents in recent history, will do what they're told to do by the ruling elite. The only one in modern history that bucked the elites, as he tried to reduce the power of the CIA, was JFKennedy. An we all know what happened to him. Connect the dots, and look at the big picture. At the end of the day. they all work for the elite, not American citizens---sad but true.

Basically, it seems after reading all this, is that the liberals and democraps don't really know what they're talking about anymore and are so out of touch with reality that they should just be ignored from now on. That makes the most sense really. I guess you don't really need logic or reason or rationality when all you are is a robotic Obama apologist.

Drink the kool aid kids, hope you can get used to the new poverty flavored line.

I've always liked the title assigned to him by Tarpley:

Poverty Pimp

He's doing his job of destroying America. We need more American business, especially production and that production should be technology and green, alternative energy and new, sustainable products and processes for living.

And it is up to obama to do that? Are you really THAT NAIVE

America does not endorse capitalism for nothing you know. Do you even know what capitalism is? Its about starting a bussiness and making as much money as you possibly can! Why do you think american(and western european) companies cut down on the local workforce and then export those jobs overseas? Answer: To reduce *cost of production* and thus increase profit. Thats a no brainer really yet some people overlook the obvious.

The trillions he wants to hand to the bankers we could spend on a new energy "Manhattan Project" but no, rather than build something he's just another seller of doom and economic destruction, taking America down for his real bosses.

I don't think he "wants" to hand money to the banksters. Its more a case of *sleeping with the devil* to survive.

By the time he's finished his program of fascism by having the government absorb every remaining US industry there will be no jobs left in the country for the middle class.

100% wrong here!

When the government owns all major industry it becomes socialism. That would be ideal if true but unfortunately america always had ultra-capitalism which in reality is border-line fascism. You can blame(or thank) the republican administrations for that.

I agree, so why do you vote republican?

Keep pimping that poverty, poor people vote for the left like its automatic. Pass the amnesty program too, lets get those votes too while we're at it.

So your gonna re-write the rulebook? Gimme a break, man.

No one is claiming the democrats ACTUALLY CARE about the middle class but what I claim is that they PRETEND TO CARE which is certainly better than not caring at all.

You want true representation? Start a revolution and see how far that gets you smartass! I see the government rolling out the tanks, jets, super-duper mind control devices, lethal ray guns, 300,000 strong army all to fight 5-10% of the population that actually knows what the hell is going on. If you survive let me know how it went.

Don't get me wrong, I think we will eventually get a revolution and toss those scumbags in hell where they belong but until then it's wise to vote for the lesser of two evils. Why do you think the democrats wanna cut down on military spending? Answer: Because they know ITS A MONSTER OUT OF CONTROL! Wake up!!!

Thats right, you read it right.
I WILL bash on Obama, every chance I can get.

Why? because he takes every opportunity he can get to bash on the American people. I am not afraid to admit my disgust for the man, I dont care about being stereotyped. Call me what you want to call me, but guess what, I have ever right to not take this man seriously. He gives me the creeps.

He reminds me of a cheap used car lot salesman who stalks on the less fortunate in order to make them feel happy for a day in a "new" old car. He shines it up nice, he puts new oil in it, maybe a new set of tires and even a new cup holder so you dont spill your drink while taking a test drive. Thats when the people get caught, hook-line-sinker.

Everytime I see his ugly mug on T.V I have to turn the channel to prevent myself from throwing up all over myself. He is an embarrassment to the flag, he thinks Americans are stupid, and he is trying to turn America into something it isnt, Europe.

The way that the left thought about Bush, I feel the same towards Obama(for a fair comparison).

Im not a republican, I am a Independant. So before you call me a repulicant and that I imbreed with my cousins and hate the man cause he is black, just remember on thing, Im not. Also, to prove that I am not a racist(like I should have to anyways, but I will indulge those that think I have to)..I am a Hip Hop producer, so trust me, I have had this conversation with Many of the black community, and the majority of those that I have talked to, feel the same way. So this isnt a race issue, its a hate issue.I feel that he is bad for our country, not only economically and militarily, but also because he is tearing the people of this nation apart more and more everyday. I have been seeing a lot of diversity of lately, and it is really sickening to me. To me, it feels as if he has devided this country more so than he has brought it together. Its funny, cause I have always thought that by electing a "black" man, that it might have been a chance to bring unity to our people, but IMO, it hasnt(not in my eyes).

Im just being real with you all, and I am using my freedom of expression to let this off my chest, and to tell you the truth, it really feels good that I have now done that.

I didnt want to get too technical with this thread, because quite frankly, thats not how I roll. I know what I want when I see it, and I know whom I trust when I see/hear them act/speak. This is one man out of many that I feel can do GREAT damage to this country of ours, not just because of his actions, but those who blindly follow his every step/word. He is not our saviour.

EDIT---- Mods...If you wanna move it, go right ahead

One of the disturbing things I ever seen was seeing him on youtube at the beginning of his campaign running for president. It was a video of him standing at a podium looking left and right and saying words he never uses and there was a crowd cheering. The video never showed a crowd. It only showed him. It made me think he was just reading from two boards on the left and right while someone added fake crowd cheering. It literally sounded like millions of people cheering for him BEFORE anyone knew about him. Not once did he look down to read something. Just kept looking left and right. Manipulation at it's finest...

I wish I saved that video...

For some reason I have avoided this thread, I don't know why.

But I'm glad I checked it out, I am impressed with your open and honest point of view, your rationale and reasoning.

I don't entirely agree, but I %100 respect the way you put your argument across.

Well done.

No! It's not our money, neither is it the governments money. It SHOULD BE our money, via the government, but in reality it belongs to the *Federal Reserve BANK Of America* since they issue it.

What we have here is capitalism at all levels, I kid you not!

The american government itself is classified AS A CORPORATION and so is the Federal Reserve BANK of America. If I am not mistaken BOTH are registered in the state of delaware.

Thats because as soon as they got the money they sent it off to bermuda, bahamas, switzerland, etc while they continue to lay off workers and under-perform. This is called embezlement of private funds but these smaller corporations are simply trying to survive from the illuminati-controlled *apex predator* corporations, such as the ones I mentioned above.

P.S.-Can you handle the truth?-

lol i love this. so just cuzz u have a couple of black friends that agree with ur point of view.lol so that means the black community share's ur views lol. wow that a far stretch there. the majority of the black community is behind obama, and tho many wont admit it. many of them voted for him just cuzz he is black. it was a history making day for us, and very proud day for the black community. so say its wrong all u want. but the black cummunity has been waiting for the right black hopeful to come along and we got him in obama. i dont agree with everything he has done but i support him. i agree with the changes that need to be made in america and to help the american people. I beleive obama is the man to do it, and get this country back on track. u may not and u have ur right t beleive that. i felt the same way about bush. i get disgusted whenever i hear his name are see his face. to me and many in the black community. he is a racist, a warmonger, a terrorist, a coward, I can go one for ever.

as far as u being a racist for voicing ur hate for obama, i dont think u are. its sad that every one gets labled in the same catagory as the huge majority of people who do have a racial bias twards him. u have done nothing in my view to warent being called a racist. what i have noticed that its mostly white people calling other white people racist for going agaist obama. ive seen many racist things being thrown at our president. its the white community that backs obama that is calling the the white community that hates obama racist. its sad but the black community exspected this. i remeber talking about it. while i was in prison with some of the other brother's in there about how this is gna be a racial thing, and that how how alot of the closet racist are gna come out etc.... even out here in the community me and alot of my friends talked about it.

sadly we are used to this crap and expected it.
but back to the topic. u have the right to express ur hate for any politicians u like in a respectful non threating manner. good for u for using it. i disagree with u but ur respect ur right to do so

I can not agree with this completely. Many american companies are actually abroad because they can`t simply engineer high-end products at home. Intel has facilities in japan, Boeing actually outsources wing building to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ( 787), GM has facilities in germany and Australia etc. Us car industry hasn` t built a single independent platform in last 20 years, all platforms are outsorced either from Koreans, germans or japanese. And a huge portion of companies you think are gone abroad, are actually bankrupt and simply sell logos, like Polaroid, Vivitar etc,

WAKE UP!

Check out this song I made called "Wake Up" Im not too good with posting links so you would have to hear it off "www.myspace.com/ondeck247". The track was inspired by being a devoted ATS reader for well over a year. I wouldnt consider myself political rap but I had to make a song like this to at least attempt to wake the masses. Check it out it was written, produced and engineered by me. Wake Up people!!!

This is another ridiculous thread/rant/waste of time that has cursed the ATS forums.
With no direction other than rousing people to discuss too many points to sharpen into a honed thought, this thread is the bane of common good.

I help produce hip-hop as well so why do I feel like this thread does the intellectual validity of "hip-hop" (or any other genre) harm?

You have GOT to hone in your feelings and channel them through a weapon of change instead of a gutter of political slush.

On top of that, isn't this thread against recently changed T&C?

Mods, please stop this silly inane topic that is leading people NOWHERE.

.. pretty please?

the man gives me the willies too. Regardless of how eloquent a speaker that he is, he's still the most least Presidential seeming President I've ever seen in my lifetime... and I'm a few years shy of 40 at the moment. What is it about that guy? As with the op, I'm not racist so that isn't it... I just don't trust the man. He seems like someone playing the part of the President in a movie, he just doesn't fit the role in real life for some reason. I see him on tv sometimes or I look at the whitehouse website and see his picture, and I'm like... that's the president? I can't even believe it sometimes. And I don't actually keep up with politics that much, I couldn't tell you what the man has been up to lately because really I just don't know. All I know is that on some sort of deeper level, I just have a profound discomfort in me because of knowing that man is in the white house. Have you ever met someone that you just really did not trust, even though you didn't know them and couldn't actually find a real reason to justify you feeling that way? I just don't trust that man. It isn't his color that scares me, it isn't his eloquent words, I don't know what it is.
