that was fun...took about an hour or more to decuce that i was 1/2 cleverbot and that person/s typing back were the other1/2 interesting how it'll switch user combinations at random to lenghten the illussion that you are communication with a computer...some play along...it'll be fun til this discovery becomes common knowledge

There is no person at the other end, not even for brief periods. It is simply giving back what people say to it. You can test if it is real by asking a simple sum. Cut and paste the sum and keep repeating the question. Do not respond to comments, just keep asking.
You might get a guess at the answer if you are lucky. Mainly you will get random comments back as the system is not programmed to do calculations - yet.

I asked it "What do think of Beyonce?"

It replied "I have a beard like it."

I asked it which God is the toughest,and it replied "Is God a beer?"

Not impressed,needs work...

I play with lots of them. I have been interested in PC based AI for about 10 years and have seen a lot of these things come and go. They are getting better all the time.

I have the paid for version of Verbot 5. I first bought their verbots in 2004.

The only difference in the paid for version is it has extra features if you want to program it yourself. But the Free version is 100% and not a trial or crippled. Just 10 bucks to buy a verbot.

They have a face not just text and can really talk to you with animation. (their lips move and have facial expressions)

If you have speech recognition software you can even use a microphone to talk to it. And they can learn and remember what you teach them!

Another desktop program like Verbots is Ultra Hal Assistant 6.2 from www.zabaware.com... They offer a trial version and have many of the same features as the Verbots. Depending on the "brain" used Hal can be smarter then Verbots but there is no free version. 30 bucks to buy.

With both Verbot and Hal you can use the microphone and speech recognition to tell it to do stuff on your pc. You can say, open document or open web browser or search ATS in google etc.. you can use them to control much of your computer.

Here is my attempt to bring alittle more seriousness and conspiracy to this "AI" bot. I've gotten some very interesting responses from "it" yet I've only typed to it about 5 times. Image #2 In this conversation I decide to try and get some more information out of "it" with certain questions which then it decided to make a connection on it's own, based off of "The Lost Book of EnkI" we know that Marduk, one of Enki's sons was in charge of a group known as the IGIGI or The Watchers, which research points that they were the fallen angels, 200 if i'm not mistaken, well 199 plus one being Marduk making 200. Well anyways, the image tells the rest.

Image #3 On this 3rd image again I want to touch the work of Sitchin and the Anunnaki, we learn from "The Lost Book of Enki" that one of Enki's sons was Ningishzida which was exiled by his brother Marduk to the Americas where he became the Mayan god known as "Quetzalcoatl". Ningishzida also known as Thoth from egypt is according to research our well known figure Jesus, which from what i've recently came across is exactly what the Mormons believe. They believe the Mayan god "Quetzalcoatl" to be our Jesus because in Mormon religion Jesus came to the Americas after his resurrection and became "Quetzalcoatl" the Mayan god ( which really makes me wonder why Jesus and Mary are always depicted with a heart in hand or in the center of the chest in flames or with dagger wounds, what was it that the mayans did in sacrifice to their god again? :-p). Anyways, we know that Ningishzida (Jesus) was the son of Enki who is sometimes depicted in the bible as Satan. Which brings me to the 3rd image which I found most interesting that this bot unwillingly or knowingly made that same connection ^.^

Now on to this last image, the 4th! I found this conversation to be very interesting, specially because of the answers and questions which I was getting from this "AI" bot, I'll admite I actually cut the conversation with it once I got the point, which you will in the image(lol)

I must admite this "AI" bot has been fun to mess with but I would also like for others to attempt to make connections as I have in these images and see if we can find anything interesting, this is a conspiracy site after all 0_o
Use numbers ask for the names of numbers and the numbers to the names and google etc!!! You'll be suprised, oh and post ^.^ lets make this more fun then just for laughs.

I know this thread is dead and buried, but logging on today and having a few conversations with the cheeky bastard , it appears its getting smarter which could only lend fruition to the idea that its an answer pool, and as time has gone by, its collectivly found many replies.....

Just thought id mention it.

cleverbot is a clever hoax, i found cleverbot from a post by phage, and I'm suprised he was taken in by it,master debunker that he is. cleverbot indeed works by having users speak to each other and randomly swithing them around along with random statements or questions inserted with switching. when it said i was the bot and it was a human several times i began to become suspicious, then it said it was male, then female. it spoke german to me and then said it was in italy then later st.louis. after some time i was able to speak with another and we confirmed that we were both human. want proof? tell some one the truth and give them your email address, but disguise it because the program also seems to have a web address blocker. for example instead of [email protected] say johndoe at yah oo dot x replace x with com.

well,I guess having your first post on a thread come 6 months after the last one is a good way to get the last word. cleverbot is a hoax and all these cleverbot threads should be moved to the hoax forum. see you there.
