For a long time coming many in the Medical Community have questioned the over-use of Antibiotics in Medical Treatment.
Antibiotics are a good thing, when used as a last resort. However, using them for every little ill like a panacea cure-all, is turning out to be a
greater detriment than we had previously believed.
Antibiotics causing a three-fold increase in birth defects is substantial, even if the figure of occurrences is nominal by FDA & CDC standards, it is
still, undeniably a considerable health risk.
Of course, bacterial infections themselves can cause problems if left unchecked, so people shouldn't avoid antibiotics entirely. Instead, people
should discuss antibiotics choices with their doctors, and pursue alternatives prior to resorting to Antibiotics, especially if pregnant.
