Hey ATS, I was doing my usual daily search of the interweb, trying to find alternative stories from '2nd November 2009', when I stumbled across this site:

'This day in history for the 2nd of November'

This got me thinking, and this is what I want to do.

It will require a daily post from me from the above site, containing all the notable events through recorded history on that particular day.

Right, so now all 'we' have to do is look at this list, and with our knowledge of today's events from 2nd November 2009, see if there are any similarities

I will update this thread every day. any major similarities can be discussed or cross referenced with the time-wave or with Evasius, if he'll help!

Let me know if you think it's a good idea, or if you see any matches with events through history.

Remember I'll update this daily so be sure to check it!

I may not know of something in the news that matches.

Also, when going over the events past, it may be possible to see links between past events on the same day, not just with today's day! If that makes sense?!

Peace, Kiwifoot

I dont think that list is too good..
First of all it failed at least on this one:
1914 - Russia declares war on Turkey

Because, it wasn't "turkey" at that time, but the Ottoman Empire (Nowadays Turkey) that they declared the war against, okay, its there too, but like 3 rows after the turkey claim..

1914 - Russia declares war on the Ottoman Empire.
