i dont think its neccesarily the accent, more the tone. you can be speaking jibberish though do it in a smooth sexy tone and i'm done and dusted

Irish, Welsh, French and Geordie accents are really attractive. However I have no right to be picky, as I have possibly the least attractive accent ever, the Black Country accent ....think brummie but with all the vowels changed round, and loads of words completely changed so nobody else understands them!

I think it's mainly the tonal characteristic of an accent that determines its attractiveness. The welsh and geordie accent for example, are quite musical in the way that the words are pronounced and therefore nice to listen to. Irish accents are tonally quite soft which makes it nice to hear. Other accents, like French, are sexy, possibly becasue of cultural memes and associations with sexiness.

I completely understand that there may be some primal genetic imperative behind the seductive qualities of accents...

However.. for me.. it's much more simple...

I find accents to be akin to that candy in the window you have not yet sampled. It cries out to me... "I'm something different... you have not tried me... you know you want to sample me".

Alright... Alright.. I'm a guy OK! Cut me some slack!

Sean Connery makes me shudder... really, I shudder.
But I like a deep Texan drawl, I could listen to that all
day.
And Valley Alpha girls, they have a nice tone too.

They would be sexy even without the accents but its like an icing on the cake.

Euro accents are extremely sexy. except dutch..not sure why this is.

I spent a few weeks in Ireland a while back and, after a while, you start to pick up some of the accent without even realizing it. I passed for Irish a few times.

French is a good one but you might need to speak the language. British is also good but you need to know the different word usage, those words that they use that we don't, like fag for smokes and whatnot.

I'm British and can attest to the different word useage. I mean can you imagine going to the U.S and saying "i'm going outside to blow on a fag!"
