I see what you are meaning. But aren't you using the word 'religion' here as a synonym to the 'church'?
And furthermore, you are condemning religion, while your own post suggests to many similar factors that aren't necessarily true, like:

It seems to me (might be just me) that you are placing your own beliefs into the place of what Churches teach about the religion.
What ever it is, I am not saying that you are wrong. Everyone is free to believe in what they will. That is merely your opinion, and I've stated mine. In the end both are as false as another. World and reality just are, and how we observe and see them, are merely our own subjective interpretations of it.
