What is happening to this world?

What kind of people are we breeding?

Things like this happen more often than we know too.

Perhaps it's time to realize that we need to stop saying things like "Oh these horrible people".
And start wondering why there are so many more and more such people in this world.

Why is there? Why is creating such people more and more.

If your home in infested with rodents, do you only think of getting rid of the rodents or also think of the bigger picture which is what is drawing all these rodents to your home?

So with that in mind... WTH is going on?????????

Somebody has to do it. I mean, there it is. It happened to a child. Not one of the more pleasant aspects of my work, but I do have a better understanding of what they go through, so it helps me in that regard.

They use child porn in state mental hospitals to test sex offenders after treatment to see if they still get turned on buy watching the videos. Kind of sick if you ask me.

Anyways, these people rapists should be put to death in my opinion. My god, raping a 4 year old? Evil.

This is why I could not be a police officer.
If I saw clear evidence that this had happened (video) I would kill the perps.
Plain and simple.

Good lord this world is screwed up.
I can't even really form any meaningful thoughts about this other than to say that these people are a cancer upon this planet and deserve death.

Some of you obviously have not read the Franklin Scandal book. There are some VERY disturbing allegations of government officials and kids at Bohemian Grove. Too sick to even mention.

Just when you think nothing can shock you in the world this happens! I am absolutely shocked and disgusted.

I am sorry but people like this deserve to die. I do not care if someone sats and eye for an eye does not resolve te problem. In this case it certainly bloody does.

That child will be scarred for the rest oh her life. Brings back the horrors of Myra Hinley and the Wests.

I am absolutely numb with anger. Put them in a cell with me for half an hour they wouldnt walk back out of it I swear it.

Well, that atrocity just clouded my morning Every time I read about stuff like this, I just cringe. This is one of the most atrocious accounts I have come across, and I know there are many stories like this that are even more horrendous, that go unreported.

For anyone to defile the very innocence of a child is shocking and an abomination! Now, these children are psychologically traumatized for the rest of their lives. Hopefully, these monsters get life in prison and a cell in general population. No segregation for their protection, put them in with the rest of the hardened criminals, and let them have their way with these beasts. Hopefully, their confinement is as dangerous and uncomfortable as feasibly possible.

I am against censorship and against the death penalty...but when I see stuff like this I get this incredible rage welling somewhere very dark...

I see myself just wasting pair that did this. I can understand the 'lynch mob' mentality when I read this.

It really unleashes a very unpleasant feeling. These people should be removed from the gene pool.

It makes me ashamed to be human.

I detest and deplore people who engage in incest, pedophillia and beasiality and deny a rational mind the privelage of consent.

However these acts have been going on since the dawn of civilization.

Scriptures like the Talmud clearly talk about condoning such acts and being the privelage of certain types of people to commit.

Other religious rituals also promote such behavior.

What is new is the medias willingness to report upon it. For many years the press often withheld such accounts because of their highly offensive nature.

It was thought that disclosing them to the public did more harm than good.

The sad truth is there is a small percentage of the population who doesn't see this behavior as unseemly and wrong but sees validation of their own lewd desires in such news accounts.

What is ailing humankind in this regard is not new and is perhaps less wide spread than it was in ages past.

Anger and retribution will not cure this problem and avenging the victims will not make them not victims but simply avenged victims.

I don't know what the cure is for this problem frankly. It has plagued us from the beginning of civilization it possibly will plague us to the end of civilization.

I tend to think that the reason these lurid accounts are no longer suppressed by the media is for more sinister purposes to plant the seed that we are all at risk in some shape and form from some horrible crime and to allow more intrusion into our lives by law enforcement to prevent such crimes.

The reality is though nothing is going to prevent anyone with such compulsions from acting them out, unless we go to a Judge Dread, type of thought police where your thoughts and desires become crimes in their own right.

Are we headed in that direction? I fear we are. Will the people embrace it? I fear we might. In part because of the way the press and government manipulates our emotional reactions to things that have been part of the human condition since the dawn of civilization.

I think this case shows two things.

First, people can do anything. Regardless of what we think about it being wrong, there is always someone for which that (whatever it is) is not wrong.

Second, we should use the knowledge these people have of each other to try to catch the most we can. Most of these cases are not isolated (those are almost impossible to find out, only by chance), people like to share (or make money) with them, so there are more people knowing about them.

It's a sad case, but unfortunately, it wont be the last.

Sadly these sorts of incidents will never end no matter how much we try to eradicate them, as much as people would like to ignore or say it can't be so...it's simply a very dark part of human nature that has been around for a long time. Ladyinwaiting, i thought your post was very relevant to this discussion. Many folks who work in trying find the perpetrators in online paedophile rings also have to view images or material they wish they didn't have to. But in the end it saves childrens lives and puts disgusting individuals behind bars. I don't know if that's your line of work, im just saying that i respect folks who take that emotional trauma for the greater good.

I couldn't be this type of police, or a social worker.

Right. Because, if we didn't pay attention or hear about it, it wasn't happening.

I think that it is far more likely that in NOT seeing it is the conspiracy, and that seeing it is not.

I'll not be blinded by your need to protect yourself. I'll not allow your fear censor.

Fear the light. Because in the shadows does evil lurk. Turn up the lights, and throw light on evil and allow it nowhere to hide.

Every day we hear of another case such as this.
And we know each day that passes many more cases occur that go undetected.

So, you think the death penalty wouldn't work?

No.

Society goes on and on with the system as it is, and, children go on and on being raped, tortured, and killed.

So... How about this...

Try it MY WAY for a while.

When a person is convicted of raping a child - kill them.

And make the killing public.

And I’m not saying ‘put them down’ with a needle like an old pet - no.

I’m saying, make the punishment, for the crime of raping a child so hideous it removes all doubt, every bit of doubt in the mind of each and every pedophile that their worst nightmare will in fact come true if they ever, ever, even ONCE touch a child.

Try it that way for a while and let’s see if the statistics change.

Because the punishment society’s using right now?

It aint working.

How many more children are going to suffer, be raped, and die, before society WAKES THE *BLEEP* UP!
