why do people start to care when they find out someone is dying?

The immanent death of someone can have some nasty side effects . When my Grandfather was on his last legs one of my aunts decided to off load on him for his wrong doings . While no one would deny that he had done bad things she had no right to deny my Grandfather what little dignity he had left . In the twenty years she choose not to speak to him she failed to make her peace . The incident deepened a rift in my family but hey you have to be able to sleep at night .
