Can someone in the US military, not dressed in military uniform, captured by the enemy, be shot for espionage? Or is this not a war? I have many problems with our wars. Don't any of you?

Now we declare war on what, a group? How can you declare war on a group? These are not wars, these are the assassination of people, we believe, might attack us in the future.

War can only be declared against another country, not individual people.

I think valid questions like that, pertain to an era of warfare far removed from what we have in Iraq and Afgh.

You know, issues of shooting foreign troops in disguise as spies came before IEDs, Kidnapping, Beheading, Torture, Rendition and Abu Grab.

Essentially, the issue you've brought up is from conventional warfare, not this crap we have now.

IMO!

Thanks mate, Kiwifoot.

the most profitable way to wage a war is to finance both sides
and sell arms to both sides
but sell bigger guns to the side you want to win
that way who ever wins you can control the land
if one side taxes its people to pay for war
and the other side sells its drugs to the taxed population to pay for war
then who profits and who is supposed to win
i guess while taxes and heroin make money why end the war at all
enlarge the war and protect the drugs
lotsa money for WHOM
cant let the enemey get beaten or no war so airlift em out of sticky situations to continue the fight
