Regarding the MOD you have made me think of something,would they investigate it if you had stated it was a plane?
A couple of years ago i thought a plane had been hijacked and reported it.Turned out to be a pilot in training but i had a phonecall thanking me from the chief constable from Ripley hq in that i was the only person to have reported it.Saying "i think its a plane" might get a different outcome maybe.
