Interesting article claiming that the autor of the Harry Potter books was denied an award from the Whitehouse because her books 'promoted
sorcerey'.
Theres also a very disturbing clip below in which young children are indoctrinated, intimidated and conditioned with fearful propaganda by religious
extremists.
The Sun (UK) - Matt Williams, September 30, 2009
JK ROWLING was denied a top US honour because President George Bush's advisers believed her books "encouraged witchcraft", it was claimed last
night.
A new book reveals the Scots-based Harry Potter author was nominated for a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
But White House officials objected because they said she promoted SORCERY in her boy wizard series, which has been made into smash-hit movies starring
Daniel Radcliffe
So they stopped JK receiving the US's top gong for civilians who contribute to America, world peace or culture.
The claim is made in Speechless: Tales of a White House Survivor, written by Matt Latimer, an ex-speechwriter for Bush.

when you are set in stone. then you are to choose what to do. engraved, paved, all rights waived. thats when you are truly free!!!

Err right.
How do you feel about the lady in the video?

It seems all the garbage on Bush is always coming out when someone is writing a book.
I will be calling bs to this story and call it a shameful attempt to draw publicity to his book.
Oooh Bush doesn't like harry potter because of the sorcery!!!!
Thats funny, he doesn't like Mr. Potter, but he will personally acknowledge The Prince of Darkness at a White House invitation only dinner (Ozzy was
the only one to get a personal welcome in his speech).
Ozzy okay
Potter bad.
That makes sense.

I can't watch the video, but a video is hardly proof.
JK rowling shouldn't be receiving an award anyways. all she did was write a popular children's book. How did that actualy contribute anything?
