Edwardian Family photos

I found an article in the Daily Mail about some Edwardian glass negatives that have turned up and they include some wonderful photos of the family life of the photographer, Jack Urton.

The following two pictures are from that article.

Here are his two daughters, Mary and Lois in the summer of 1910. I love this picture but it's sad to think that by the time they reached middle age these two little girls would have lived through two world wars (assuming they did live that long):
