Here's the forth option.
GO BACK HOME. And stay there. Let the god damn rest of the planet impload while we:
grow wheat, corn, rye, oats, and all the rest of the REAL foods
grow cotton and rebuild the cotton mills
build advanced technologies like microprocessors and robotics using American programmers and engineers
use the BILLIONS of tons of US coal using clean scrubber technologies
Drill our own oil in the US and Alaska and Off shore
use only 1/3rd of what we use today by investing in a real public transportation system and building real 50MPG cars for $2000 like TATA in india. Who cares if it breaks, buy 4 spares!
Take college courses over the internet and slash the cost of tuition

That's your 4th option Mr. Nobel Peace Prize, President of Kenya.
