How exactly is that a defeat for Obama? Does your hatred for Obama exceed your love for your own country?

Get off it man. There's a fine line to draw between political indifference and ignorant blind hatred, and people who draw conclusions like you do, took a huge jump over that line.

Some people are obssesed with hatred for Obama.
That kind of thinking is not patriotic at all ( just as hatred of all Republicans) and really contributes only continued strife. It's the "my team" simplistic thinking. It's also delusional in this case, and ultimatly self defeating no matter which "team" you root for.
Let the Repubs crow, it doesn't really matter, the balance of power hasn't changed. I guess they need a psychological boost.
It's kind of pathetic when you really think about it, they are happy basically because they didn't lose! Whatever.
Voters made it clear that this was not about Obama, it's really up to the Dems to get it together at this point. A lot can happen in a year!

Obama tried hard to get the Olympics in Chicago.
I don't hate Obama. However, i love it when we fails.
We need to derail this Liberal Train to the abyss.
He failed.
His immature attitude towards Fox News was an embarrassment
to the presidency. We can't get rid of Fox News. Lets just try to
marginalize them. The other news organizations stood with Fox!
He Failed.
The stock market is rallying this morning because the Obama
Liberal Train is off in the ditch. Obamas fingerprints were all over
the New Jersey Corzine race. - Spectacular Failure -
In November 2010 we will get real hope and change we can believe in.
