I would like to begin a thread using the craft of haiku. Please indulge in this craft. I begin with:

we play in the fields
forgetting divinity
you are just like me

It's a delightful conspiracy, whaaa, to keep us all pacified, content to turn inward and not engage TPTB. We will write beautiful poems to make us all feel better about the status quo. Here's mine

dollars feed them all
heads up the ying yang
cuckoos sing loudly

waves lap at my feet
I am standing on my roof
neighbor's well is dry

Fine question. New to the site and ideals seem to be above politics.

Well, AnotherSon, yes, I see it now...ideals certainly are above politics Ideals lead some into politics. Sadly, ideals for most become deals, and whose deals trump?

Your haiku makes me think and feel. Wondrous.
