Positively Mad For MadMen. You too?

On chatforums like ATS, one's brain is imbued with many many weighty, challenging, super heavy matters. I know that I should be spending my time on intellectual educational input, so say those who would rail against TV.
HOWEVER: I find myself, from time to time, outright addicted; to a TV series. such as A&E's Mad Men. OMG, the drama, mama. But there is something more. Everytime after I watch a show, it leaves me disturbed, obsessed, and stuck in my brain. I cannot, at the moment, describe exactly why. All the characters are so compelling, that I think all week long, about what just went down, and the next shoe to drop.
Anyone care to weigh in about MadMen?
