Soon to be the new mascot of the Democrats’ cap-and-tax push, Disney’s Tinker Bell was tapped by the United Nations this week to serve as an
“Honorary Ambassador of Green.”
The United Nations Monday named Disney character Tinker Bell an “Honorary Ambassador of Green” to help raise children’s environmental
awareness.
TinkerBell to Sprinkle Green Fairy Dust on Global Warming

Seems appropriate to me, in another 10-20 years time to perpetrators of this man-made global warming fraud will be asking us to all clap for Tink...er
global warming.
I guess they did learn from Joe Camel after all.

Is this tinkerbell going to be the new god of the new one world religion? i DO consider the "greens" a religion, since science does not back up
their claims on global warming.

I'd hate for all greens to be lumped in with the warming crowd. I'm all for conservation, and saving the environment. I have a healthy respect for
the environment in which I live.
I do of course realize she's a fictional character even though I have always loved tinkerbell. Maybe someone should point this out to tptb. We could
at least have al gore the emperor of the moon or something.

I agree. I love going outdoors and walking around in the mountains near my home here in the south-eastern US. I don't really see a problem with
educating children about the environment, it's an important thing. As long as they don't use this to push some sort of bizarre population control
scheme, or other such madness. I hope people that care about littering and so forth don't get pushed together with these cap & trade crazies and
greenpeace. Of course, we always need to be wary and vigilant about things like this, people and communities should be teaching about the environment,
not the government. When the government takes control of things it tends to force politics into every aspect of whatever they're doing.
