And egg nog milk shakes. And egg nog fudge. And egg nog taffy. And See's egg nog candy.

Gotta try some egg nog pudding.

I want egg nog pancakes from IHOP!

Ok, gotta confess, I just bought my first egg nog (made by Bud's Ice Cream of San Fransisco, which I haven't tasted before) of the season while out grocery shopping Thursday night. Most people don't even put it in their shopping cart till Thanksgiving or after. So it's Halloween eveniong, and I'm sipping egg nog.

I'm bummed out for awhile after Christmas, when the last cartons of egg nog disappear from the store shelf. One year I bought egg nog after New Year's for 10 cents...yes, marked down to 10 cents a carton!

Jack Daniels Egg Nog, both varieties, is good. IMO Bordens Egg Nog in the tall can should only be used as a last resort, and definitely put into a box for survival supplies, but I would drink it if I can't get anything else.... kind of like drinking Banana Extract is to an alcoholic.

I used to make egg nog once in awhile for the holidays. Not bad. Need it creamy and thick. Freshly grated nutmeg on the top.

NOGGING OF THE EGGIES.

I love the stuff too.
There have been some premade flavors around my way lately.
Like pumpkin, cinnamon, gingerbread, and Ole'Jack-D.
I just love the plain old kind with some fresh nutmeg and piece of Italian bread toast with butter.
