Scientology Convicted Of Fraud In France

Yes every celebrities favorite religion has been found guilty of fraud in France. The organization was found guilty of preying financially on vulnerable followers and forced to pay a fine of 600,000 Euros. France wanted to ban the organization a little known law passed at the begaining of the month the trial took place which bars French courts from dissolving an organization convicted of fraud. Crazy right? The leader of the scientology cult in France Alain Rosenberg was handed a two-year suspended jail sentence and fined E30,000 ($48,701) on the same charge. France seems to a take a proactive approach when dealing with these organiztions when in 1995 it was officially classified as a cult in France, where it claims 45,000 followers.

no worry - if not dissolved, and baned the crooks will quickly get even more money from their credulous sheeples...

Yeah they have Jehovah's Witnesses listed as a cult also. France is not big on religious freedom.
