Brazil UFO filmed by TV crew

A TV crew returning from the city of Rio Branco in Brazil’s remote Amazon district spotted a UFO on the side of the highway they were travelling on. The event occurred last Friday 24 October at around 1am. The employees of the TV station ‘Gazeta’ were returning home after doing a piece on local bandits dressing up as policemen. They immediately set up their cameras and managed to capture incredible images of the UFO. The camera man, Jailson Fernandes, said that the craft hovered in the area for around one and a half hours and was oval shaped. ‘If I didn’t see it for myself I would have never believed accounts of people who did’ he noted. This is not the first time a crew from the TV station ‘Gazeta’ filmed a UFO in this area. One such event occurred earlier this year in February and well known UFO event also occurred in the area in 1994. The Amazon region in Brazil is one of the world’s great UFO hotspots. The Brazilian government recently declassified detailed files on ‘Operation Prato’: a military investigation into ongoing reports of UFO sightings and even UFOs attacking locals. Military personnel working on the top-secret project have testified that they too saw UFOs and in a few cases even extraterrestrials while doing investigations.

Looks like a plane to me.

Too bad they didn't have night vision or something that could make the video a little more stunning.

It is good but you can't really tell the shape or size. No real points of reference.

Good either way.

i spent 1 year at military base, and im not aware of any airplane that has BLUE lights - only white, green and red

I think that at least the ufo people/things finally understand, and have finally incorporated FAA approved anti-collision lights. As for the video, no wonder we don't see much news from South America - They certainly have a hard time keeping a 'trained' eye on the object. I'ma gonna say ~sshhhh ~ it's a secret plane~ (hushed voice).

Hmm.. Yes initially I thought it was a plane, but where are the green lights?

Also anyone notice the similarity of the blue light to the Niagra falls footage?
I know the Niagra one was reflection from the craft but that also had the 5 sec sequencing too..

There was a thread posted here awhile ago about a man in Brazil who built an aircraft with an array of flashy lights specifically to deceive people. I think this craft might very well be it.

It looks like a plane. the wierd part is that the video seems slowed down a bit.

The flashes from the beacons seem to be slowed down.
the white part on top looks like the tail light for the logo of the plane.

I don't think we should jump to quickly to the conclusion that this is a plane. One thing I noticed that didn't seem quite right was the blue and red lights. For one, aircraft do not use these colors. For two, watch the intervals in which the lights flash. It's steady blue then red for awhile, then all the sudden they flash very quickly. I haven't seen a plane that does that. Not sure what this is, I'm no expert! Thanks for the video OP.

First off This video has obviously been tampered with you can tell by the way the camera moves im guessing someone tried to slow it down and use some stabalizing program.
Green is pretty close to blue so the video may just need some color correction.

Hard to believe a TV crew would think this was anything else but a normal plane. The proportions of the distances between the lights are entirely consistent for a plane.

Actually, this could be ANYTHING.

- It's not original, raw footage.
- It's been altered ---> slowed down.
- There are no reference points in the video as to altitude, bearing etc.

As far as I can tell this could be a remote controlled plane 20 feet away, or it could be the real deal. There is no way of telling and I think this kind of video is utterly pointless these days.
