October 26th spiritual epiphany: The nature of Self

Since Oct 25-26 was supposed to be host to a huge, catalyzing event for all of humanity, I figured these dates would be condusive to spiritual growth. I've spent a good deal of time meditating over these past two days, and it has resulted in some revelations for me.

I don't claim these thoughts to be anything that hasn't been said by others for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years, but I'd like to share them with you.

This space that I perceive around me is available for my use. This is profound. Many is the source that suggests that the world we perceive around us is created by our mind, or manifested by us, or an illusion. I suggest that whatever it is, it is available for my use. Whether it is "real" or not is irrelevant. I perceive it. I may use it. I am worthy to use it. It is ok if I use it. It is ok for me to use in any way that I choose.

In this space there is a representation of each of you. Each of you also have a space that is available for your use, and in your space there is a representation of me, as well as others. There is a "me" in the space of everyone who perceives me as being in their space. All these representations of "me," collectively, are me. All the representations of "you" in the spaces of me and everyone else, collectively, are you.

I am capable of perceiving your space only through the "me" that is the representation for me in your space. The me in that space is available for your use, just as all the representations of each of you in my space are available for my use.

This is the nature of self that we perceive as both "other and self."

I won't say much more because I'm one step from starting my non-nonsensical existential blabber. And I don't want to hijack your thread that was beautifully put together through some good days of (spiritual) work.

Yesterday I was in so deep of a funk, I actually felt ill....it only subsided when I called it an early day and went to bed.

Ah...we see so many claim to be "awake" but they are merely in the first stage. Congratulations on realizing the truth. It took me a long time to reach the conclusion you make. Truly there is only one truth. That truth is whatever you make it to be. Now you know why most cannot agree on anything. Imagine a world that gets what you just described. We would all learn to live and let live, as we are all connected and equally important in our path of life.

As if this past week for me weren't enough, it's a deluge!

Yes, that's a very way of seeing things.
I had in fact nice days.

And I also learnt the lesson not to follow any specific date predictions; I use astrology as a guiding tool, but I also learnt that webbot is much wrong with lots of false doom.

For what it's worth (and I really don't know the worth of such subjective information), I can tell you that for three or four days, approximately from the 23rd to the late hours (CET) of the 26th, I felt very, VERY "weird" -but in a good sense.

It's very difficult to explain, especially to someone who does not know me.
And even I had never had such a feeling before: it was a mixture of anticipation of something very tangible, but not (necessarily) on the common "world" timeline.

(And NO, it had nothing to do with "prophecies" of any kind.
I am usually unaware of them, anyway. And if I am aware of them, en passant, I do not pay attention to them.
Besides, if that were the case, I would have to be in a constant state of anticipation! )

Not today, not anymore.
And yesterday wasn't all that good, either.
But the 25th and the 26th... yes, there was something there.
I don't know what it was, but something it was.

Erm...occult/esoteric study? Start seeking. I think the resouces on this are pretty limitless for all practical purposes. But, yes, specific intent is...specific intent!

I created this thread to share the idea with people and in the opening post I stated that I probably wasn't the first to think of the idea. Where do you get the notion that I'm claiming exclusive ownership?

One popular interpretation is that the "representations" of others that we perceive are as much ourselves as they are anyone else. Since we have no direct contact with any "outside world," it's not even possible to change anything other than ourselves, only our Self.

What you're saying would be very consistent with that interpretation.

I'm reminded of Ho'oponopono, in which the injury of others is perceived as caused by self. If you see an injured person, it is completely your responsibility, because their injury is manifest in your reality. So, healing is performed by apologizing to them for manifesting them as injured, and expressing love and gratitude to them.
