I found this and thought it might be useful. It's mainly about reducing the effects of radio activity in food.

when cooking fresh-water fish from contaminated reservoirs cut off head, disembowel the fish and remove big bones;
Wow...so I should just leave the head on, not bother to gut it...and not remove the bones if I'm eating non-contaminated fish?
They forgot to mention you have to scale it...jokes aside though...decent info...could come in handy one day...
