yeah i might be a NuT , but i still think oregon is playing right into NWO pockets. good way to monitor and later restrict travel of civilians. sorry if this is the wrong forum feel free to move it.

It would seem so, NuTroll.

They say raising the gas tax is unpopular with voters.. why would a brand new tax, like this, with other implications be accepted.

This certainly hasn't made big news here in Oregon yet.

The federal government doesn't plan to mandate such a system, Cox said, so the states must convince vehicle manufacturers to install the devices in new cars and trucks.

It will never work. Any vehicle manufacturer to install this thing will suddenly find their profits plummeting as sales dropped.

Since the article mentioned the use of a GPS device
the real reason is most likely to monitor people.
