A top Goldman Sachs Executive has been named as COO of
enforcement at SEC!

Here is part of the story from SOTT.net...

Glenn Greenwald Salon Fri, 16 Oct 2009 20:18 EDT Apparently, the U.S. government didn't have enough Goldman Sachs executives in key financial and regulatory positions, so the following happened this week: A Goldman Sachs executive has been named the first chief operating officer of the Securities and Exchange Commission's enforcement division. The market watchdog says Adam Storch, vice president in Goldman Sachs' Business Intelligence Group, is assuming the new position of managing executive of the SEC division. The move comes as the SEC revamps its enforcement efforts following the agency's failure to uncover Bernard Madoff's massive fraud scheme for nearly two decades despite numerous red flags.

Considering how much animosity and suspicion exist toward GS, this is exactly the
wrong move.

The corruption is so pervasive in the Obama admin that the corruption of his appointees raises no eyebrows. What can we do? We make posts on ATS to vent our anger and dismay. We are like gnats at a picnic.

Dear, God....please tell me this is a joke.

I thought it was only my industry (health care) that did ridiculous things like that....like naming the CEO of the top drug company as the head of the FDA.

So, they do it in the financial industry, too.

Ok, I'm glad I took my money out of my 401 k last year. Never, ever, ever again will I put money back into anything besides a savings account.

agreed.

from my short experience here, i've noticed that only very heated, polarizing topics get lots of attention and replies.

Real world scary stuff...nothing.

Hey, Look! A conservative called Sarah Palin smart, lets do something about it.

Hey, Look! A liberal is bashing Bush! Let's do something about it!

Hey- some really crooked guy is put in charge of the SEC - this is really bad news!! ...did someone just say Sarah Palin?

I follow ATS pretty regularly, and missed your thread.
There are a lot of good ones that get buried.

There was a time when no administration would get away with what is
going on. The problem is that people aren't pissed or hungry enough yet.

Our Bastille day is coming...

When you see thinking people on both the left and the right up in arms,
then maybe something will happen.

BE PATIENT! The very people who authorized the
FEMA camps may end up there.
