The truth of the matter is that only 20% of registered voters identify themselves as Republican, and only 33% or 37% identify themselves as Democrats, regardless of your opinion of the veracity of the data, I believe those numbers are pretty close.

Think about it. The GOP has been following Nancy Reagan's motto of "Just say no", about everything, regardless of what the subject is, they are taking an obstructionist stance, anyone who denies this is just being dishonest.

Say NO, offer nothing and hope that the democrats screw up bad enough so they can say "see, we told you so".

The GOP has a lot of voices, but no leaders. They have made such a terrible mess of this country in the last decade, so now they offer nothing but opposition, hoping the democrats will do as bad a job as they themselves did when they were in power.

The GOP is truly worthless at this point, and the Democrats aren't much better.

Defending either party at this point, given what they have shown us, only makes yourself look silly and un-intelligent.

Yeah sure. What doesn't make a lick of sense is your post! Anytime the polls show your side losing, claim a fake poll! Oldest trick in the book!
Why in the world would you think approval of Repubs would be higher? Because they have....what ?

The question is not why you think I feel the Repubs approval would be higher because a more important question is,
... why target the Repubs in the first place?
The Dems are doing it to direct attention away from themselves because they don't want to reveal their own approval rating.
That trick is even older.

I'm sorry but your logic makes no sense, let me splain to yoo why.

Why on earth would anyone want to conduct a poll about how people feel about Republicans, especially now?
Makes no sense.
The Dems are in the drivers seat and they need to keep their eyes on the road.
Why are they looking in the rear view mirror?

Seems to me they are worried about the Repubs.

There are more important things to worry about right now.
I suggest they stay focused, keep the hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road before something catastropic happens.

The Dems are doing what?
Polls are always taken on both sides, it doesn't matter which one is in power. Do you think that that no polls were taken on Dems during the Bush era? Again, you might think you make a point, but really you make no sense at all! Not going to argue with you,
