[ url=web address here]Thread title here[/url]
Take out the space between the first bracket and url. That should do the trick

That Link only brings me back to this forum. When I copy a thread all I get is the "Link". I want to copy the "Name" of the thread, not the
Link.
Please help!!!!

Copying and Pasting is very easy, but I am only getting a Link not the Name, for eg; look at my signature, it only has the link; Not the Name.

If all you wish to do is copy the thread title...and NOT hyperlink it, then just copy the original title from the top of the page. It's right under
the Flag button on the top left of the page.
here's the "whole package" for your signature. Just hit the quote button on this reply and then copy what is below.

Do what Aggie Man said in his/her first post here.
[ url=http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread513065/pg1]Copying & Pasting threads
Leave out the space.
That gets:

You're going to want to do what AggieMan said earlier. Use the "url" tag.
So, if the thread's address was, www.abovetopsecret.com... and it's name was "How to make NWO cookies", you would do the following, without
spaces:
[ url=http://www.abovetopsecret.com/1]How to make NWO cookies[ /url]
That would give you a link to the thread with the thread's title being the text that you see.

Thank you so much, I'm still not sure where you get that actual code from. In a way I was just copying what you provided, me. When you say to copy
the title on the left side under the flag, all I got was the black print of words and nothing else??? hmmm?

In the second line underneath you have not left out spaces in the NWO title. So this is not clear at all?

This too was not clear, I need a proper reference as to what and which space to remove, an further too there was no "Thread title: in the address
bar."

Hi catalyst2466.
Is what you want to do is have the name of your thread appear instead of just the generic www.blahblahblah.com?
If so, I can show you how to do it in a step by step manner that should be simple for you to get. Just u2u me and I'll help you out.

[ur l=the url from the address bar goes here]* The title of the thread goes here * [/ur l]
On the upper left hand side of every thread/page there is a "breadcrumb trail" showing both the forum and thread title.
e.g.
» Board Business & Questions » Copying & Pasting thread
Using that and the address bar url you are able to craft your link.
[ur l=http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread513065/pg1]» Board Business & Questions » Copying & Pasting threads[/ur l]
or simply...
[ur l=http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread513065/pg1]Copying & Pasting threads[/ur l]
Which, as others have demonstrated, shows as this...
Copying & Pasting threads
Hope this helps. Otherwise, post back...

What do you mean? In the title you can have spaces. In the actual code, you can't have spaces. All would have to do is copy what I typed, replace
the url with what you want, change the title to what you want, and then take out the space between the [ and the u and the other space between the [
and the /.
