i'm not pro nor anti Obama (not american, but still, you cant' avoid the guy) but it blows me away the amount of bashing against him. It seems they try to blame everythign on him, like EVERYTHING. Someone's toast burns in the monrnig "that's that GD Obama with his newfangled liberal electricity"

I am an American, there are no sides to that. The only thing that concerns me is what is best for America. The only reason they have the Left and Right is to keep us in a continuous battle between ourselves. This keeps our eyes and ears from seeing and hearing what they are actually saying and doing.
America, please put all this behind you. Stand up for each other as Americans. The puppets and their masters are winning. We are on the verge of losing what little we have left of our great nation.
Does it really surprise you that Obama lied, come on all of them lie. The only difference is this time around they have a young, articulate, educated and charismatic man hypnotising the people.
Along with the Bill being drawn up about the Birth Certificate, a Bill stating if the candidate lies to get into office, he/she will be thrown out on the a$$e$, period no exceptions.
Or better yet, while campaigning they have to be hook up to a lie detector, with a giant screen behind them displaying the words, TRUTH & LIE. Maybe that would keep the Liars from ever reaching DC.

Well I think that his actions speak louder than his words and simply reflect the lies he's said. I dont "bash" Obama I point out what he is doing wrong so we can see some action. I never say anything good because he isn't and hasn't done anything good. If i am wrong someone please dont argue or say "Well Bush did the same thing". Just point out some good things Obama has done.

This would only be Obama bashing if the words that came out of his own mouth were true. It is also time for administration to man up and stop blaming the previous admin.

He has been in office long enough to start being held accountable for his actions, lies and inactions. He can start clearing the air around himself by opening the doors to the Reps. with regards to these closed door dem. only healthcare bill crafting meetings.

He can also stop crying about Fox news and his critics. He is a big boy and should be able to brush off the criticism. You can't be friends with everybody Barry.

Yes, Obama has broken some promises, I don't deny that, but blaming him for everything is a fun pastime for some.

I was looking for the 7 lies Obama was bashing in 2 minutes, according to the thread title. Try a colon, or at least a comma after "bashing." It's no wonder this site isn't taken seriously, largely because of the effectively infinite number of semi-literate thread titles (when not functionally illiterate).

Lie number 1.

An open and transparent government. And then he goes on to say "no more secrecy"

Right now, they are in a closed door meeting about the health care bill.

I don't blame Obama though. He may be the president, but the president doesn't control America. The presidency is just a cover to give Americans the feeling that there are elected officials looking out for their best interests.

Well, I have to disagree with you. He is not blamed for everything, and what he is blamed for he deserves blame. If im wrong please correct me. Name some things that he is wrongly blamed for. Also just to point out no one has answered my original question, perhaps lost for words without trying to justify present actions with the actions of past presidents.

It's funny how people bash the government for not being transparent when they put up every single amendment, change of bill, everything on the library of congress website for anyone who isn't half dead to view.

What do you want them to do, come round to your house and say hey Brothers in Arms, is this change ok? Do we have your approval to do this? No? Ok we will fly back to Washington, make the changes, then fly back and make sure only YOU approve.

This policy (point it out) will weaken the united states and render it a third world country.

The truth is and ATS members know this, Obama is a figurehead, he is a puppet just like every other president. Look beyond the teleprompter man to the guys behind the curtain.

They push policy, Obama just reads it from a teleprompter. Hes like a talking head on the 6 o clock news. Nothing he says he wrote or really believes, it's what he is told to say by the people behind him.

Well, I see the list of "48" more good things, however either they shouldn't have been done because they are unconstitutional or they are now being undone by what he has planned for us now, such as gov't-run-socialist healthcare.
