I know there are a lot of people on the "RIGHT" who hate Michael Moore as much as We on the LEFT HATE Bush and Cheney. However, when it comes to trying to help Americans Michael Moore is doing more that both parties put together!

Michael Moore Offers A Refresher Course in Citizenship and his 5 tips for Helping AMERICANS - ALL OF US!

FIVE THINGS WE DEMAND THE PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS DO IMMEDIATELY:

1. Declare a moratorium on all home evictions.

2. Congress must join the civilized world and expand Medicare For All Americans.

3. Demand publicly-funded elections and a prohibition on elected officials leaving office and becoming lobbyists.

4. Each of the 50 states must create a state-owned public bank like they have in North Dakota.

5. Save this fragile planet and declare that all the energy resources above and beneath the ground are owned collectively by all of us.

These are fantastic suggestions and I'm happy to say that we've done all of the last 5! I'm of two minds about Michael Moore, but you're right, at least he's not sitting back on his ample bottom and doing nothing like so many Americans who are complaining all the time do.

Thanks for posting this. It's positive and something that we can sink our teeth into.

So in other words... there is no value in what he is saying? Do you have a better idea perhaps... instead of just knocking someone trying to make a difference? I'll keep checking back to see what wisdom you can impart on your country to get it out of this mess.

He should do a real video on the real technologies that affect us all, in mind control. Electronic mind control is the most dangerous thing for any human in the western world today.

Plus is you think its not real you have no idea, i have been monitored in london for 17 years now since leaving school.

Mind control is the most important thing the government has, and its something these people never talk about.

some of it may be good suggestions. some of it sounds like crap. Mr.Moore is nothing but an oxygen thief. Remember, capatalism has done nothing for him as he likes to say. Except, make him rich, make him fatter, and make it easier to push his dribble to the movie theater to make more money off people who are searching for something to believe in.

I think that this guy is a socialist. He puts things in such a way that thats not how it comes off at first, but if you really pay attention to what he says and proposes, then you'll see what I'm saying. The job of our gov't is not to provide health-care or houses for us.Period.

Well a lot of what the government does is not the governments job. The federal government far exceeds what it is allowed to do by using blackmail and strongarming the states to comply

I get that but it doesn't justify it. Thats why we need to get rid of what we have now and start over with the same constitution and bill of rights.

I agree totally. As far as Moore goes, I disagre with just about everything he says, I think he is a lieing, ignorant, moronic piece of trash, but I would fight till my last breath to help him retain his right to be such.

We need someone to point out the illusion of the dream world that we live in here in the United States of America. Because the corporate owned media only perpetuates the illusion feeding us lies and not what is going on behind the curtain.

" The latest hip topic of the day ?"

I don't agree and beg to differ.

Michael Moore has pointed out some of the things going wrong in America in the US leading to where we are today.

For example:

"Roger and Me" (1989)

How in the 80's GM used it's profits to further enrich the corporate VPs and their lavish homes and lifestyle instead of fixing the REAL problems in product quality at GM which lead to diminishing profits. They instead begin implementing layoffs of line workers to maintain the bottom line as well as the profits to the stockholders.

This was produced 20 years ago and look at where we are today.
The US has lost its edge in industry and people no longer look at American products as representative of quality any longer.

Cars of status now are made in either Japan or Germany. Cadillac has been working for decades now trying to compete with the likes of BMW and Lexus.

Look at what we purchase today and how much of it is actually made in the US any more ?
Why is that ?

That was and is not merely a HIP topic but instead an inherent problem in America leading to loss of jobs and our current F'd up economy that we're now experiencing 20 years later.

"Fahrenheit 911" (2004)

This movie speaks for itself bringing to light the sham we all were brainwashed into believing justified the invasion of Iraq AND Afghanistan. Look where we are today .... 8 years later and no prospect of victory in sight only more troops and more military spending.

Its pretty apparent to me that the PTB want our economy to hit the skids just so they can get more of the unemployed to fight their wars for resources whereas we take the genocidal vaccines they want to inject in our bodies or head to the concentration camps Dick Cheney Halliburton has built for us.

Who else besides him and Aaron Russo have spoken out via the mainstream media against the PTB and their corporate mass media and the lies we've been fed ?

Deny Ignorance.

"FIVE THINGS WE DEMAND THE PRESIDENT AND CONGRESS DO IMMEDIATELY:

1TextA Couple of Year ago I would have said thats stupid, But with the government giving away all this taxpayer money to this bankers its time they protect us... Side note, don’t buy a house you can’t afford.

2. Congress must join the civilized world and expand Medicare For All Americans. Medicare for all is stupid and will bankrupt us, I have a thread I am in the process of writing to explain why and what should be done.

3. Demand publicly-funded elections and a prohibition on elected officials leaving office and becoming lobbyists. I totally agree with this. Taxpayer funded elections, town hall style debates, and no commercials paid for by unions and lobbyist for their candidate.

4. Each of the 50 states must create a state-owned public bank like they have in North Dakota. Iffy about this but if it is run by the states it could be good as long as its allowed to make a profit.

5. Save this fragile planet and declare that all the energy resources above and beneath the ground are owned collectively by all of us. On the fence on this.

PLUS:

FIVE THINGS WE CAN DO TO MAKE CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT LISTEN TO US:

1. Each of us must get into the daily habit of taking 5 minutes to make four brief calls: One to the President (202-456-1414), one to your Congressperson (202-224-3121) and one to each of your two Senators (202-224-3121). They never answer their calls.

2. Take over your local Democratic Party. Remember how much fun you had with all those friends and neighbors working together to get Barack Obama elected? Why does it have to be Democrap? The Dems are not the answer to this, nor Repubs run as Independents or Americans.

3. Recruit someone to run for office who can win in your local elections next year -- or, better yet, consider running for office yourself! You don't have to settle for the incumbent who always expects to win. Agreed

4. Show up. Picket the local branch of a big bank that took the bailout money. Hold vigils and marches. (not sure about this)

5. Start your own media. You. Just you (or you and a couple friends). The mainstream media is owned by corporate America and, with few exceptions, it will never tell the whole truth -- so you have to do it! Agreed

But Wait - There's MORE:

FIVE THINGS WE SHOULD DO TO PROTECT OURSELVES AND OUR LOVED ONES UNTIL WE GET THROUGH THIS MESS:

1. Take your money out of your bank if it took bailout money and place it in a locally-owned bank or, preferably, a credit union. Agreed, Have a thread on it.

2. Get rid of all your credit cards but one -- the kind where you have to pay up at the end of the month or you lose your card. Agreed

3. Do not invest in the stock market. If you have any extra cash, put it away in a savings account or, if you can, pay down on your mortgage so you can own your home as soon as possible. agreed

4. Unionize your workplace so that you and your coworkers have a say in how your business is run. Unions are the problem, If I own a business I should be able to make decisions based on what I think are best for my business if I have to pay workers to much and my profit is down guess who has to go.

5. Take care of yourself and your family."Agreed

As an Anti-Liberal and Anti- Mike Moore, I find some of items ludicrous, and wonderful.

Sooooo.... Your avatar is showing a direct hit on the Federal Reserve and the other side of the planet is China and Walmart getting blown out?

Could be the best thing to happen.

We can admire the gaping hole where the fed used to be and see stars down under...

Moore's suggestions are OK... but some are merely bandaids.

The FED needs to be dealt with and corruption needs stronger remedies than he's suggesting.

EDIT to add your avatar in case you change it later... Thanks for a great laugh!

Here is a few things I don't get.

Some like to bash Moore.
Some different like to bash Alex Jones.
Some different like to bash Glenn Beck.

They are all fighting in the same general direction.

They all agree on a few things.

The Constitution needs to be upheld.

The Govt. is too big.

Coruption is running way out of control, in the Govt., Corporations, Investment, etc.

If these guys would drop the BS inbetween them and push together, it would be a lot more powerful force and message.

I am one who is usually caught in the middle.
I would love to see free high quality health care and education. But, I also believe you have got to be able to pay for it without putting a heavy burden on people.

The middle class has been swindled out of most things.

1. Declare a moratorium on all home evictions.

Why? People voluntarily entered into a contract to borrow money to purchase a house and now they can't afford it? What about everyone that isn't living above their means?

2. Congress must join the civilized world and expand Medicare For All Americans.

Why? Because Medicare works SO well? Show me the statistics and investigations that show people are being denied healthcare now.... how about getting Gov't completely out of regulating healthcare and see what happens?

3. Demand publicly-funded elections and a prohibition on elected officials leaving office and becoming lobbyists.

I actually agree with this.

4. Each of the 50 states must create a state-owned public bank like they have in North Dakota.

I don't get this at all, are you saying instead of having a Federal Reserve, basically have 50 State Reserves? Bad bad bad idea, return to the principle of sound hard currency and allow for competing currencies.

5. Save this fragile planet and declare that all the energy resources above and beneath the ground are owned collectively by all of us.

So, if I own a piece of land that I've worked my whole life to obtain and I discover oil, it is now own collectively by us all? I don't get any benefit of working my tail off to own this land?

I think he's sititng back on said bottom and profiting on our distress.

That said, these suggestions some of them are good.

Except #5. Why would I trust the government with all my money when they already take 50% of it? Credit unions are out there, and solve the problem of big banks.

Interesting to see how many folks who would normally have Moore run out of town on a rail, are in agreement with so much of what he says here...including take back government.

I will comment, though, that in my experience it is a rare enterprise that becomes unionised that doesn't bring it on themselves. Very rare.

1) I actually dont mind this if, and only if, it has STRICT limits. Like, you had to have been laid off. Not fired, not quit, strictly loose your job due to a downturn in the economy. It also must have a time limit on this as well. If somebody has not threat loosing what is most valueable to them then what will make them really get a job to actually pay this back. The interest must keep running as well, its not fair that I have to pay my mortgage and somebody gets a pass. I dont agree with resetting the morgages to what the house is worth now tho. People knew what they were getting into when they bought it.

2) My grandparents have medicare...its crap. For somebody that is against big government I cant figure out for the life of me why anybody would want POLITICIANS to run your healthcare. All the stories and propoganda from both sides to the side, why would you want bueaucrats to be in charge when you get sick? Just doesnt even make the slightest big of sense to me.

3) Ill even take this one a step further, get rid of the damn lobbyists for everybody. No more big company or special interest group lobbyists of any kind. I dont care if the damn candystripers from the cancerward want to lobby...answer is no.

4) I dont agree with making the states have a state-owned bank. Clear violation of a states rights. Im not against the states having them, just against MAKING them have one.

5) Dont agree with this one for the most part. He is saying pretty much to give away companies control to the public. Meanwhile, companies have worked their butts off to earn what they have. They may have done some shady stuff, but just giving up what you have earned over the years doesnt sound to good to me. Also, I dont believe in the climate change crap. "We only have 50 days to save the Earth" is a giant load of bs to me. But, that being said, I dont see the harm in renewable energy sources. But being forced to use something that I dont want to is rediculous to me and is a violation of the very word that our country is synomymous for around the world....freedom. We still have the freedom to choose what to do and what not to do way more than any other country in the world and I dont like getting rid of a single one of the things I can choose to do or not.
